Hi everyone.
I'm brand new on here! My name is Josh.
I am looking to start contributing to the site. Would love some feedback on my first blu-ray cover. See if I'm heading in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!

I have also done a simplistic, plain version of the back.

The ting about custom covers is that they should still hold the template information that the original covers do. The first thing I would recommend you to do is download a DVD/Blu-Ray template and go from there. There should be one that contains a lot of different templates (Sony/FOX and so on). That will give you the basics of where things should be on a cover. Atm it looks like two fronts. The image on the back is too big for the back imo. Also TT on the front is hard to read so I would make it white. Also not so keen on the Marvel and Blu-ray logo placements.

Cheers! Thanks for the input. I love steelbooks and the simplicity of their designs. I guess that's was what I was going for. I will try and find some of those templates you mentioned, and have a go with that. Thanks very much.

Welcome to HiRes! Nice first cover, but I do agree it is a bit too minimalistic. There are plenty of templates on the site, if you want to try some. Use the tabs at the top, and go to Galleries -> Design Assets -> DVD/BluRay Templates.

I agree with everyone else, also I'm not too keen on the TT, it makes it hard to read.

So, I've had a little look at the templates.
Wanted to check if I'm on the right path.
Thanks so much..

I much prefer the second version :)
