I was optimistic through Carter's first season, hoping they would give some worthwhile backstory to SHIELD's early years. It was a fun little story, but nothing amazing.
Season 2 of Carter has been a total bore for me. I can barely force myself to watch it. I am constantly wondering "why does this matter/why should I care?" Other than some loose (and unnecessary) setup for Doctor Strange, there's not much going on. We've seen that the movies don't reference or care what the ABC TV shows are doing, so it all feels kind of pointless (other than to continue slapping the Marvel brand on things).
It's becoming more and more difficult to make time for Marvel's ABC shows, especially when their own Netflix branch (Daredevil/Jessica Jones) and DC's awesome output (four nights a week! Supergirl/Flash/Arrow/Legends) are running circles around them.
Totally agree with you on this one Kernie, I've fallen asleep more than once watching season 2!

I'm happy to report that I have finished converting all of the DVD spines to the "larger logo" format. Now, all of the spine title treatments in the collection have a (relatively) consistent width and should look more uniform on the shelf. Without going into all of the details, the inconsistency was something that started happening when I first expanded the collection from animated superhero projects to live-action films and television. It's something that always bugged me and I'm glad to finally have everything look the same.

Also, as I was changing the spine TT's, I went through and changed the retail special features list on the back cover to an episode list for most animated titles. There are still a handful of live action shows (and one or two animated) that need special features switched over to episode lists (mainly WB titles like Smallville, Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman, etc.). Again, this is a remnant of my early days with the collection when I felt that retail DVD features would be more useful than ep lists... but my thinking has since changed on that matter.
Here is a list of the all of the titles that have been updated to the "larger spine" format...
Super Friends (All Series - All Seasons)
Superman: The Max Fleischer Animated Shorts
Ruby-Spears Superman (1988)
Superman: The Animated Series (Volumes 1-3)
Superman: Brainiac Attacks
The Batman/Superman Movie
Swamp Thing: The Animated Series
Young Justice: Seasons 1 & 2
The Zeta Project
Josie and the Pussycats (1970 animated series)
Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space
Sabrina the Animated Series: Volumes 1 & 2
Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Friends Forever
Sabrina's Secret Life
The Amazing Screw-on Head
Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot
Hellboy: Sword of Storms
Hellboy: Blood & Iron
The Mask (Animated Series)
The Dick Tracy Show (1961 Animated Series)
The Maxx
Savage Dragon
Spawn (Animated)
WildCATS
Witchblade (Anime)
Defenders of the Earth: Volumes 1 & 2
Flash Gordon (1979 Animated)
Flash Gordon (1996 Animated)
Phantom 2040
The Tick (Animated) Seasons 1-3
Garfield (Animated TV Specials)
Garfield & Friends: Volumes 1-5
In addition, I gave Superman: The Animated Series a bit of a facelift, similar to what I had done with other DCAU shows like Batman: TAS, Batman Beyond, and Justice League. Nothing major, just tweaked the background comic panels, Kryptonian code, text layout, and other little details to polish up the cover. The DC Animated titles were some of the first that I made in this template, so they could use a bit of a tune-up to bring them more in line with my current quality standards. Here's a little before-and-after of the Superman covers...

Thanks so much for taking the time to do this, I didn't realise that there was so many that wanted changing after your last update with the Turtles and so on.
The tweaks make a big difference, it makes the covers pop a bit more, thanks again, time to start downloading, printing and replacing. (gives me a chance to replace some covers that the sun has faded the spines a little)
Thanks
