Wondrous new additions Kernie, I'm kind of partial to the Peanuts so it's good to hear you have plans for them

holy updates batman, you seriously nailed G.I. Joe hardcore , spectacular work you even covered the two mini-series that were made and incorporated. them into your covers, wicked stuff. I can't believe you made G.I, Joe Extreme as well, fantastic
Love the updates, i was just thinking about the new Lego DC cartoon and than i saw your cover excellent work, love the updates
I have one small question don't know if its possible but in the future is it possible to add Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles cover to the g.i. joe set ?
other than that what can i say excellent additions can't wait for the teen titans vs justice league as well

Thanks! I had a feeling you'd say that.

Yup, just have to decide how to go about including all of those TV specials from the 60's and 70's. Warner Bros. released them in "60's Collection" and two volumes of a "70's Collection." Which is probably how I'll end up doing them.RRJR84 wrote:QUOTE (RRJR84 @ Feb 15 2016, 10:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I have one small question don't know if its possible but in the future is it possible to add Sgt. Took less than 12 hours for someone to say "thanks, but I remembered the one thing you forgot and I want it now."![]()

Find me something (anything) in decent image quality for a Sgt. Savage cover and I'll include it. It was a 22-minute episode released only on VHS and you had to buy the Sgt. Savage action figure to get it. It's extremely rare and very little in the way of good artwork is available for it. So I decided to skip it when I was working on every other GI Joe title that exists.
Sorry for getting p155ed, but the last thing I want to hear after spending days looking for resources, weeks making new covers, and hours uploading everything is "hey, you missed something."
Thanks man.
Woke this morning to find a comicfest of covers released![]()
Excellent update mate, thanks
Justice League vs. Teen Titans Great looking cover, good looking keyart which fits, but I suspect it maybe from a layered imagelike the TT, it's Shiny lol
Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Cosmic Clash Didn't know anything about this, again good looking cover back logo looks great
The Peanuts Movie manage to watch this a few week ago, well I say watch I actually fell asleep half way through, not sure if it was through boredom of a warm room and comfy chair, overall I didn't think much of what I saw, but I've never really been a big Snoopy/Charlie Brown fan. But the cover looks great nice nod to Charlie's jumper with the VVVVV on the back![]()
Dark Matter Don't know anything about this, just read your synopsis, looks like I'll be looking out for this one, love the TT and back logo, overall good looking cover.
Wow, crazy update and new comer to the collection G.I. Joe , amazed that you have managed to get a hold of all this artwork for the different covers, I thought there was only the "Real American Hero" series, how wrong was I. Great looking covers like the cobra and shield logos, TT's look great, I like how you have used you previous G.I. Joe film covers to use the artwork for the collection.
The Diary of a Teenage Girl Another I know nothing about but like the cover, nice
Dennis the Menace I was expecting more to see the animated series at some point, but nothing from 1959lol, nice covers though
Richie Rich been trying to find this, from anywhere besides Netflix, can't find it, but guess I won't be missing muchgood looking cover, Thanks
Oh thanks for updating the other titles with the larger TT on the spines, speaking of which could I ask if you've already updated some of the other DC titles yet like the Super Friends, Superman TAS and a few other titles or are they waiting to be done, only asking as I may have missed a post you might have made regarding those covers.![]()
Thanks so much yet again, nice little update lol you deserve one of these![]()
EDIT: Regarding the SuperFriends etc. its only an enquiry not a request, I don't want you to get p155ed at me for askingLast edited by Darksaber on Mon Feb 15, 2016 3:59 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Thanks DS for continuing to leave such detailed replies!![]()

Nope, haven't gotten to any of the DC titles yet. I'll be sure to mention it in a post when I do. If you miss the post, you can check the spine preview to see if they've been updated.

Hey I'm not complaining or saying you missed anything, i was just wondering that's all I'm truly impressed with the G.I. Joe most of all because there is no other complete set anywhere else on the interest or nothing worth printing. You went all out on G.I. Joe especially once i read the episode list i was like whoa!, he also included the mini-series, that's genius and fantastic. The TT treatment is just flawless. So don't take Sgt. Savage to heart i was curious if i t was at all possible anywhere down the line. The fact that you are the only person on the net with a G.I Joe Extreme is truly remarkable. Hell the fact that you find usable artwork for all these sets is remarkable. I couldn't find any images worth using.
All your sets old and new is astounding, you've made things I've looked for my entire adult life and helped me discover comic related stuff i've never heard of and showed me some stuff i didn't know was comic related. So not only do you provided quality artwork to satisfy my collection needs you also teach me tings while collecting.![]()

I apologize for over-reacting to your initial post. I misinterpreted the tone of your comment. If artwork ever surfaces for Sgt. Savage, I will certainly include it. If something is missing from this collection, it's usually because there are no resources for it... or I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
The GI Joe mini-series were included in the DVD sets released by Shout Factory, I essentially just made covers for their releases. Not being the biggest GI Joe fan, it was incredibly confusing to figure out that original animated series. Series 1: Season 1: Volume 1-3, then the movie, then Series 2: Seasons 1-2. I believe I went cross-eyed trying to sort it all out.
As for GI Joe: Extreme, I probably wouldn't have been able to make that one if it wasn't for a comic cover I was able to track down and rework. Here's the before and after...

yes the shout factory releases are confusing cause i have the original rhino releases of the G.I Joe Cartoon which doesn't include all the episodes so now i'm gonna buy them all. Also the original releases didn't include the mini series.
As for extracting the image from the comic all i can say is wow, that's talent beyond talent and it looks 100 times better than the comic does.
