Will get back to it then. In tesponse to ctaulbee's reply image, yes. I was going for something like that but i have an idea. Im at the college campus and will be here almost all day, so maybe at night.

In response to Sauron, i agree with your comments but in regards to only having two characters(wich yes, are brothers) ctaulbee's image amost responds to you question. Almost, only because Robocop is a familiar character and the even if you didnt know the character the title gives away it(doesnt mention he' part human) is a robot and is a cop. Other than that from the cover you get nthing of the story, the characters.

The front is OK, but it could do with a more exciting title treatment.

By exciting what do you mean? Different font? A more agressive font? Can you examplify please? The film is a drama about johnny depp and his brothers.
I don't want to make it flashy, but in respect to the title treatment could you name some alternatives.

My idea fr the spine is to put it the same color as the front and the same with the back.erase everything in the back and juct put in the bottomcenter a small picture, also stylized in blue of their family.

Thoughts?

A different font. I would also reduce the effects you have used on the front. It is too dark, and you have lost a lot of detail. I would be inclined to go along the lines of something more like this...

Ok..so its too heavy on the effects. Still i like the cilter effect i used, maybe turn it dwn a lot though.

The cover is crap, ok. It is but dont you guys like the idea of having no text at all, no synopsis, no features, just artwork?
Ok the spine should have all the usual balony but its seems to me that all of the above is made fr people who arent fans of movies.
I mean everyone of you guys have seen a gazzilion covers, have made maybe hundreds of covers. How many tomes have you tooknthe tome to read the synopsis or the legal fine print? I know about me? Probably never. Maybe a couple of times the secial features, at most

You just need to take more time to finish one part of the cover at a time I think. It isn't crap, just over done on the filters on the front. And the back style of images doesn't work with the white parts, as it looks like it has been masked with the magic wand tool. The other minimalistic covers (such as Ctaulbee's example) have a scene on the front and back. This is just images of two people and doesn't tell us enough about the movie. You don't have to have a synopsis etc, but I think you need more than a picture of two people on a grey background on the back

what are you wanting to happen to the finished cover. if you would like people to download it then i think you might need to put in some effort and give people something that would look good on there shelf, a dodgy picture front and back wont cut the mustard. If its just for yourself, then just print it out and your done.
