I, for one, am quite ecstatic with these new releases. I've enjoyed most of these shows, and can't wait to see them displayed on my shelves with your covers. Thanks for another fantastic set, Kernie!

I wanted to share some of the keyart that I created for these recent TV covers.

Since this collection is based on a consistent template, I think many people might assume I just slap the retail poster onto the cover, update the back info, and call it a day. For some covers, this is true... but for others, I just don't think the retail stuff is quite what I would like it to be. That's when I have to spend hours putting something together. I don't post my progress in the WIP forum... there's just too many titles in this collection to do that. But I hope the following images enlighten folks to the fact that this template is more than just a simple copy/paste job.

In addition to the source images shown below, there are countless adjustment layers (levels, curves, hue/saturation, etc.), filters, textures, and fx layers (smoke, glow, rain, shadows, etc.) that are often added in to bring the whole thing together.

OK I'm back in business, thanks to Bazzah :D

Wow, excellent work with those montages, amazing! It's nice to see a small insight into putting together your custom keyart, very professionally done, it must take hours, loving the Gotham keyart, it looks flawless and it's reminiscent of your Dark Knight Trilogy cover, Some of the retail keyart just doesn't cut the mustard, so to speak, so it's a pleasant surprise when we see what you come up with. :)

I can usually tell if it's custom keyart or not, as following this collection from the beginning you get to know your work, very impressed with these though :)

Thanks for all the new covers, I've enjoyed each series, some more than others, but these covers are outstanding with the quality of them.

I wasn't sure if you would make a cover for Marvel Disk Wars, but again it looks great, haven't a clue what the series is about, I still have to track it down to watch.

Liking the new Batman Unlimited cover, I think it due out next month, I've watched the first film Animal Instincts and thought it pretty good, but I'm a fan or anything Batman anyway. I've also seen that there is also Batman Unlimited shorts or webtoons which should consist of between 22 and 26 episodes of around 3mins each.

Anyhow, thanks again, and it's worth subscribing to HiResCover just to get this collection :)

Oh just a reminder, will you let us know when you've uploaded anymore covers that have had the spine TT corrected please :)
