Lucky you! Doesn't open until next weekend here in the States. Isn't Anthony Mackie in the movie? He's listed in the billing block on the poster?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh sorry my bad, yes he is in it, not saying anything else, lips sealed ,I should have thought to see if it had opened anywhere else yet, I just assumed it had, again sorry
On another note I like the update in post 18, the colors look better to me

It's all uphill til you get to the top
I prefer post 18 too, the light seems a better fit with the characters, the orange of post 14 just doesn't gel right, plus the desaturated looks better also in post 18.
If your finding it hard to use the resources to match the first cover, the perhaps should try going in a different direction, using the resources that are available, no one is going to judge you if it's impossible to match the first cover, like you've have said before with other covers your digging yourself into a hole trying to make them the same, the same thing might happen if you eventually make a Avengers: Infinity War cover, you'll find it harder and harder to match resources.

Impressive, as always, Kernmeister.
Depending on how much text you have to add to the bottom, maybe you could move everything except Hulk, Falcon, and the title down a little bit? (Maybe leave Captain America where he is, too?) You would know the sizing better than I would, but it just seems like there's a whole lot going on in that one area.
You're probably perfecting placement before worrying about coloring and such, but a little more red on Thor's skin to match Captain America and a little more Contrast and Saturation on everyone in general should help the elements differentiate from each other, as they get a little lost among the gray background and rocks.
It looks like you're well on your way to another winner here!

Thanks to all who took the time to offer comments and suggestions!
I tried to take all feedback into considerartion and rework things a bit into something that frees me a bit from matching the previous cover's layout, while still keeping it feeling like a follow-up to that cover. Unfortunately, this meant going back and starting from scratch. I found that trying to adapt the previous design was too constrictive and limiting both in terms of creativity and resources.
I'm attempting to move forward in this new direction. My apologies to anyone who fell in love with the first version, but I feel far more satisfied with this current iteration than what I was getting with the original plan.
Thoughts?
