Daredevil is outstanding. I'm currently on my second watching of the series (yes, it debuted three days ago). The dark tone and crime noir elements are perfect for Daredevil and the "street level" heroes that Marvel is bringing to Netflix. The production values are much higher than Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter and the stories are much more adult. I was surprised by how graphic some scenes became. As a motion graphics designer, I absolutely adore the brilliant opening title sequence as well. Marvel's best TV series by far. I just hope they don't wait until after the Defenders team-up series to do a second season!

Agent Carter is decent. A fun eight-episode mini-series that hints at the beginnings of Jarvis, the Winter Soldier program, the Black Widow academy, and more. My main problem with it is the problem I have with all prequels... we know where it's going, which lessens the dramatic tension. We know who won't die and where they will end up. It's fun to watch the journey, but knowing the destination makes it less intriguing.

While we're on the subject, Agents of SHIELD is showing improvement. This season's darker tone has worked well and I'm glad they're utilizing the Marvel Universe more (Gen. Talbot, Mockingbird, Crusher Creel, Mr. Hyde, Quake, and the Terrigen Mists).

Flash has been the most fun new series this season and it's not afraid to embrace it's comic-book roots. Other than the boring Barry/Iris subplot, it's been an excellent and light-hearted show. Arrow has lost me a bit since last season... lingering on boring storylines with Sara and Thea and giving us a woefully underwhelming casting choice for Ra's Al Ghul (the guy exudes no authority or menace).

Unfortunately, haven't seen Constantine or iZombie. I gave Gotham a shot, but it suffers the same prequel problem I mentioned above. It also seems like the showrunners don't really care about the source material and just throw Batman characters into the show to boost ratings.

Sorry for the long post, I haven't ranted in a while. :D
I must be in the minority for daredevil cause it didn't thrill me,at least not until the last episode. i enjoyed Vincent d'onofrio as Wilson Fisk. The fights scenes were great too but overall i wasn't amazed by daredevil at all.

I was skeptic on Agent Carter at first and while its not the best show, i enjoyed. I kinda like seeing how shield was being built while cap was still frozen. Hayley Atwell is great in her role, shes the only thing that keeps the showing interesting imo.

The Flash is by far my favorite new series, the amount of characters throw into season 1 is fantastic by a giant comic fan like myself. Overall i absolutely love The Flash, its one of the few shows that keep on the edge of my seat when the end on a cliffhanger.

Arrow is my 2nd favorite superhero show on tv right now. Other than the atom being an iron man wannabe i really enjoy the other, i have for every season so far. I love everything about it.

Gotham is a hit and a miss, it feels more like a detective story that took elements from the Batman Universe. its a nice concept but it would have been better if they started off with Bruce Wayne as a kid and the fast forward to Bruce Wayne as a teenager coming into his own. that would have been cool. Its hard cause we know most of the villians don't really come around till Batman hits the scene and they're trying hard to make it a non superhero show with superhero villians we all know and love and when they advertise some of these characters
they pitch them as the characters they are to become many yrs from now, such as penguin, poison ivy, catwoman, joker, riddler and more to come. But over all its not the worst comic related show out there.

First, Sorry for the image messing up things.

Enough about me and all the respect to Kernie. Amazing as always. My database has been updated and loving the new covers. Most collections I look forward to new covers. With yours I look forward to new Films/Series just to see what you come up with. The Agent Carter one matching Agents of SHIELD is perfect. Love the way you tied it in.

Thank you for the great covers today.

Thanks for the massive update! Great stuff for my shelf and for my son's shelf! Fantastic design as always. I would speak to it more but I'm not well versed in speaking on it. I love the detail I love how professional they look and I love that you make the designs so dynamic! These covers pop! We've been in our house for a year now and everyone that comes into my den and sees the shelves immediately asks where I got the covers and who made them. They can immediately tell by how awesome they are that I didn't make them, but no worries, I give you credit and point them to the site! Thanks for not giving up because your enjoyment and skill is shown very clearly here, damn the naysayers! Now to renew my membership so I can download these. :)

Looks like Constantine's been cancelled, if the rumours are true :(

Edit: Ignore this, just read it's not cancelled!

Kernie you are and were one of my biggest inspirations into getting into the cover set designing. I was doing only wrestling covers for sets I didn't have covers for then my friend pointed me to this site and your stuff. I was then hooked I have almost all of your covers I been working on buying dvds/BRs to go with your whole set.
you Inspired me to make my own sets in my own style. (not comics I leave those covers for you) I make covers for all my other movies that are not comics. I also understand time and family and how this is a hobby. But I just want to tell you thank you for all your hard work and for your inspiration in getting me into set designs.

Sorry to hear that it wasn't your cup of tea. I loved it, but then again, I don't always like things that others seem to enjoy, so to each their own.

Thank you very much, xshoty. I'd be lying if I said it didn't notice hints of my own style in your's. When I'm back in fighting shape, I'd love to take on the new hot-shot of the HiResCovers scene in an epic HRC!

Unfortunately, I've only had the time to watch a fraction of the titles included in my collection... too busy designing the covers! :D

Thanks xspankyxduckx! I'm honored to hear that my covers have prompted you to start designing covers yourself! Hearing something like that is probably one of the greatest compliments someone could hope for.

Thanks again to all who have shown support and encouragement over the last several years of this collection. Your continued interest in these covers is truly what keeps me going! :D
