But I've just read the rules and if I got them right he can be contributed, right?

Yes but hopefully he'll use a different template for future covers. The submitted ones are all the same with different pictures. I guess that's a start...

Think so Fidi, if I understand it correctly "a member who has 'X' number of approvals posted in the gallery then they basically qualify to be a contributor since all their subsequent uploads still have to be approved anyway" is that correct Baz?

That being the case voting seems unwarranted really for contributors.

I did vote yes though as per the rules they do qualify I think.

But he should be adviced using some WIPs in the future anyways I'd say.

That is correct. The reason for voting is to see if there are any reason why they should not be promoted, such as if you know the work is not theirs. It is also a chance to voice an opinion, such as you do not believe they should have been approved in the first place.

I also do not like that everything is on the same template. Such a typical serial work. But how to make a difference, it should try in projects.
