Where did your nickname come from?
I once had a dog called Salsa, he was named after the Mexican sauce
What part of the world do you come from?
I come from Denmark
What got you into designing covers in the first place?
I started making labels, because I should use prints for my private photo shows, inc. holoidays, vacations ect.
Is there anyone on the cover making scene that has inspired you?
I find inspiration in many different places both within the field of cover/label preparation but also many other places in theworld of graphics.
What would be your best advice to any up and coming designer?
Try to pressure yourself to go different ways and try to see all criticism as something positive that will help to improve your talent as a designer
What’s your favourite cover you have made?
I have a couple of covers that I am quite satisfied with, but the most outstanding is probably the one called " A Christmas Carol ". The process of designing this cover pushed me to the limit, because I was new in this field.
What’s your least favourite cover you have made?
I just went through my cover collection – from the first I made to the one I recently made, and I must admit that a lot of them would look different if I should design them today, but I guess that’s part of my progression as a designer. I can’t pick up one cover that is the worst, because there are many.
What’s your favourite cover that someone else has made?
There are so many nice covers and labels that I can’t pick one as my favourite. In general, the covers and labels that I like most are covers and labels that are different while they say something about the movie.

My name is Henning Friis
What do you do for a living?
I used to be a butcher but completed the education as Bachelor in Social Education in 2010. I now work in social psychiatry in my hometown municipality.
Any kids (that you know of)?
I have a 12 years old daughter
Any brothers/sisters?
I have one sister and two brothers.
What was your childhood like? Share an interesting "growing up" story.
I grew up in a small town in a safe environment. I fought and made some trouble in school and was generally having fun.
What is your favourite food?
I love a big juicy steak
Tell us about your best vacation.
I think that was a trip to Rome with my wife a few years ago
What is your favourite type of music/band?
I like Rock best , but can also enjoy many other genres.
What is your favourite movie of all time?
There are many great movies and my top ten list changes all the time . But one that has been on my top ten since I saw the first time is, " Snatch " with Jason Statham and Brad Pitt
What one place would you like to visit?
I would like to go on a photo safari in Africa
What other hobbies do you have besides movies & graphics?
I love to be in the nature and take photos. Especially birds has my interest
What is the best thing that ever happened to you?
There is no doubt about it, it was to see the birth of my daughter
What is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?
I do not know, I do not keep with that stuff, I try to forget it as soon as possible

I have no
What is your favourite animal?
I like birds and dogs
Who is your favourite actor?
There are many I really likes , also many young actors. But two of the slightly older actors, which I always thought perform well and give quality are Michael Caine and Clint Eastwood
If you could meet one person, who would it be, and why?
I would love to share a beer with Clint
If you could be one person, who would it be and why?
I would not be anyone other than myself, because that would mean that I would lose all the people in my life (family and friends) and I will not do that at any price
What super power would you have, and why?
I think it would be cool if I could fly
What is your favourite car or motorcycle?
Harley Davidson, Farrari, Covette and Lambugini all produce many real cool models
Are you a night-owl or an early-bird?
I am definately an early-bird
If you knew you had 24 hours to live, how would you spend that time?
I would make sure to be with my daughter and my family

As a child, I once shot my neighbor with an air -gun on her nose O). Nobody else

Did you go out last night?
Yes I was at Christmas lunch with my workplace . It was a great party.

To see my daughter dying. Isn´t that every parents fear?
If you won a million dollars, what is the first thing you would do with the money?
I would buy a nice house and a holiday home

I would merry Angelina Jolie, sleep with her and throw Brad Pitt off a cliff :oD
