I'm finally back with some updates. Thank you to everyone for their patience as I dealt with some family matters; all is going well and each day shows improvement. Fortunately, working on these covers was a nice distraction and allowed me to get my mind off of current troubles.

That being said, here we go... (click image to view in gallery)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)
[attachment=29229:mcfc_tmn..._package.jpg]
[attachment=29230:mcfc_tmn..._package.jpg]

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

Hercules (2014)

[attachment=29234:rbfc_her..._package.jpg]

Snowpiercer
[attachment=29235:tcfc_sno..._package.jpg]
[attachment=29236:tcfc_sno..._package.jpg]

Eternals (Marvel Motion Comic)
[attachment=29237:mmcc_ete..._package.jpg]

The Fountain
This one falls into another one of those "gray areas" of which came first: the comic or the film. Apparently, when director Darren Aronofsky originally couldn't make the film, he had his screenplay turned into graphic novel format and published it. The graphic novel predates the release of the film by about a year, so I guess it qualifies for the collection. :shrug:

The Spirit (1987 Television Movie starring Sam Jones from Flash Gordon)
[attachment=29240:dcts_spi..._package.jpg]

Yor: The Hunter from the Future
This one has a funny story to it. I had never heard of this title until Bunny Dojo gave me some great resources for it several years ago. I kept putting this cover on the backburner as there was no demand or interest in it. Apparently it's based on an Argentine comic called Henga, el Cazador and stars Reb Brown (from the 70's Captain America TV movies). Anyway, thank you to Bunny Dojo for supplying the materials to make this cover. Sorry it took several years to scrape this one off the bottom of the barrel.

Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze
[attachment=29242:defc_doc..._package.jpg]

Turok: Son of Stone
[attachment=29243:deac_tur..._package.jpg]

Tamara Drewe
[attachment=29244:gfc_tama..._package.jpg]
[attachment=29245:gfc_tama..._package.jpg]

Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy
[attachment=29246:hpfc_bar..._package.jpg]
[attachment=29247:hpfc_bar..._package.jpg]

Mandrake the Magician (Serial)
[attachment=29248:kfsc_man..._package.jpg]

Popeye (1980)
[attachment=29249:kffc_pop..._package.jpg]

Popeye the Sailor
These three volumes apparently collect the 1930's Fleischer shorts as well as some of the 1940's Famous Studios shorts. Unfortunately, I'm not the biggest Popeye aficionado, so I'm not quite sure. I'll try to get to other Popeye titles soon, but there are tons of these shorts between theatrical cartoons and TV, so it's tough to figure out how to collect them into DVD sets.
[attachment=29250:kfac_pop..._package.jpg]
[attachment=29251:kfac_pop..._package.jpg]
[attachment=29252:kfac_pop..._package.jpg]

Dilbert
[attachment=29253:uutc_dil..._package.jpg]

Not sure why I decided to revisit the Sabrina series, since they are probably the least popular covers in this entire collection, but for the sake of completion, here is the 1970's animated series and the two made-for-TV movies that aired during the television show's original run.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1971 Animated Series)
[attachment=29254:actc_sab..._package.jpg]

Sabrina Goes to Rome (TV Movie based on the 90's series)
[attachment=29255:actc_sab..._package.jpg]

Sabrina: Down Under (TV Movie follow-up to Rome telefilm)
[attachment=29256:actc_sab..._package.jpg]

And two Blu-ray conversions...

Casper (1995)
[attachment=29257:hcfc_cas..._package.jpg]

Young Justice: Season 1
[attachment=29258:dcauc_yo..._package.jpg]

With these updates, I am inching ever-so-closer to scratching nearly every comic-to-film/TV/animation title off my list. There's still a handful of "back-catalogue" titles to go, but this batch definitely got rid of some that have been sitting on my list for quite some time. So I feel a small sense of accomplishment today. :D

And here's the whole collection again...
[attachment=29259:spines_d...series_1.jpg]
[attachment=29260:spines_d...series_2.jpg]
[attachment=29261:spines_d...series_3.jpg]
[attachment=29262:spines_d...series_4.jpg]
[attachment=29263:spines_d...series_5.jpg]
[attachment=29264:spines_d...series_6.jpg]
[attachment=29265:spines_d...series_7.jpg]
[attachment=29266:spines_d...series_8.jpg]

Current Comic Book Collection Count: 557 DVD's, 218 Blu-rays, 3 PS3 Games, 3 Xbox360 Games
(Database file in signature has also been updated)

Enjoy and please leave a comment if you have the time. I truly appreciate it and your support keeps me motivated to keep going with this increasingly insanity-causing collection! :D :D :D

As you should, forgive me for being me but I feel no one will ever achieve both your level of design discipline and a catalog of works that reflect that achievement like what you have done here.

I applaud you both for your dedication and your IMO unmatched design skill which is clearly showcased not just in this collection but for me more so in the covers you venture outside of your area of expertise (this incredible series) with equal ease.

:)

TMNT and Sin City 2 are two of your very best additions so far! Your template, the posters, and the usual Kernie elevation collide perfectly.

My fingers are crossed that at least one of the films will be decent, and you'll go for a full-scale Kernie original extravaganza. Both seem ripe for "the treatment."

And, I don't remember how/why I came across those resources, but somewhere out there is a Yor: The Hunter from the Future fan whom you've just made very happy.

Bit lazy of me, but Dito to what everyone else has said about the design and achievement you have made with this collection :whistle:

Downloaded a few last night to wake up this morning to find you've uploaded even more :)

The Turtles cover looks great, I like the addition of the turtle shell on the back instead of the pizza, the key art looks great, really nice placement of the individual characters :)

Sin City: ADTKF, I'm sort of looking forward to this in a way, I liked the style of the first film, nice cover :)

Not seen Hercules yet, and didn't realise it was based on a graphic novel as someone pointed out, I always thought it was based on the myth!! Nice looking cover

A few I've never heard of or didn't think they would make it into the collection, like Snowpiercer and The Spirit TV film (haven't heard of before) The Fountain, Doc Savage and Popeye I didn't think would make it in, The Fountain I found was a weird film couldn't get into it.
All great covers I like the Doc Savage keyart and medallion.

Mandrake again great keyart, I like the old serials :)

Dilbert again never heard of but nice cover.

Popeye, like the spinach can and ropes, nice touch, always remember the Popeye meets Sinbad cartoon, brings back memories :) I'll have to try to get a hold of these.

Turok and Barbarella I can now add the cover too, really nice covers better than the retail

Oh not to forget Yor and Tamara Drew, Yor not seen in a long time, seem to remember a cheesy 80's space/barbarian lol, nice clean keyart, great TT. Tamara Drew, I doubt I'll be into, screams Chick Flick to me, I'm not dissing the cover, looks great :)

Sabrina, again not a fan of but nice clean covers that match the rest.

Fantastic update, great job on all the TT's and logo's and for taking the time to make them of course :)

There was a few other covers I was hoping for, but I can wait, plus I'm too frightened to ask :scared:

Anyhow thank you once again and I'm glad your family member is feeling better.

Turok i wanna check out now there's a great cover for it.

As for the Sabrina covers, its not an easy series to find but i think the covers are phenomenal, i'll check out the TV movies when i get a chance.
