Thanks, everyone! :)

I'm interested in Serenity but haven't really found too many conducive resources. It's definitely on the radar, though. :)

And who knew double stills rows were so popular? :D

I'm not fully sold on the 'needs practice' part Tim, it looks damn good to me ;)

I umm... I hate to be THAT GUY, because it is an amazing artwork and I love it but...

They're not casting shadows against the Deckplate. Except Mal?

It bugs me too much. <.< >.>

Amazing composition though. If I didn't know better I'd swear they were all photographed on the set that way at once.

You definitely make a good point. I figured there were 3 keys to having the composition "work":
1. Logical placement/sizing
2. Uniform coloring
3. Uniform lighting

I was semi successful with 1 and 2, but knew from the start that 3 would be a nightmare. :S The lighting is so vastly different across the input photos, beyond the usual left versus right. I ended up justifying it in my mind as many different light sources producing different strength/direction shadows and the fog decreasing the strength for everyone behind Nathan Fillion.

Is this version any less egregious?

Yup. Especially the girl to the right of the Capt. was floating a little. She looks grounded now :)

Thought resources for the later Serenity would be easier to find than pics from the original show.
I'll put it on my radar. One never knows what could turn up! :D :D

At any rate I have a have time deciding between yours and Josh's collection cover for this! :D
