update as promised
base colouring is done, first layer of shadows are done on the jacket so far with the 2nd layer of shadows and higlights still to do
also added a texture to the background

For sure yup. I did a lot of work with animation in the early days, but i mostly just rebuild character images now - a lot of work that goes mostly unnoticed. Nowhere near as much work as your doing though
