Pacific rim 9.5/10 - What a fuc... amazing movie !!!!! I see it in 3D, normaly i hate the 3D but this time it was a really enjoyable experience !!! The fight Jaegger vs. Kaiju are just totally awesome, the actor playing very good and little touch of humour is adding on this !! for me it was one of the best movie i ever seen ! :D :D :D

Olympus Has Fallen: 5.5/10

A tad over the average. Good and intense start, but the film gets lost in absurdity over time. Sooner or later, you can imagine the very end.

At least you have some solid action scenes and actors' perfomances (apart from Morgan Freeman - he was unchallenged in his role) as well as loads of violence 'n' gore with an impressive bodycount.

Pain & Gain - 4/10:
Even for Bay standards still a downer. Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson act like super-a$$ clowns. I felt really embarrassed for them. Funnily enough, Ed Harris was the best part of the film for me. Though he was unchallenged in his role and appears too late in the film.

The Naked Gun (Part 1) - 9/10:
Recently saw it again. Still one of the best comedy flicks ever! You cannot even count all the gags. Just plain hilarious!

Elysium - 7/10:
Regarding the average IMDB and Metacritics ratings, I expected something worse. The first half of the film is really intense and gripping. Yet in the second part, the plot just gets more and more unrealistic. But then again, the end is very emotional and sad. Sharlto Copley delivers an awesome villain while Jodie Foster's character could have been incorporated even more in the film, considering the trailer advertises just Damon and her. Overall, not as brilliant as director Blomkamp's previous work District 9, but you get some really beautiful images and a sweet soundtrack from Ryan Amon.

GETTYSBURG 9/10
Great civil war drama, choice acting by several stars. Historical details alone gains another point.

GODS AND GENERALS 9/10
It's hard to make a successful sequel to a great movie; even harder I imagine when producing a prequel instead. However, since this prequel was filmed a decade later than the original movie, all the actor's look more real. Their beards especially looked somewhat dubvious in 'Gettysburg' - but in this prequel Daniels and Duvall suddenly seem their actual age in the movie, which I think is a huge plus. It just makes everything seem more authentic I mean. :)
