But I think you should reconsider the purple color scheme.Dredd (2012)

Nice detail, looks good.

Jap, for me it does look bettet without.
What do you do with the black area below? Actor names?JollyRoger wrote:QUOTE (JollyRoger @ Jul 19 2013, 01:29 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>perhaps use a more metallic/rusty texture for theTT?

Better without the frame i think. Title with the metal texture also looks better.
Great front, especially the filters on the characters. How did you do that?
Would be nice if you could tell me cause this really looks smashing!
Something like this i was looking for the charakters on Gangster Squad but i didn't get ist this way... :mope:

I think the names of the actors would be the best solution.Last edited by Fidi on Fri Jul 19, 2013 11:16 pm, edited 1 time in total. My MD Gallery

I can give you a short explanation, but you need to have PS CC to have access to two of the filters I used![]()
First of all I used Topaz Clarity (thanks to Cirus for mentioning that filter in another thread), which is a plugin filter.
Then I used some filters in Photoshop CC:
1) Shake Reduction to help improve low quality images
2) Oil Paint (have to be careful with that one, low opacity and some masking required). This filter brings out nice curves in the image, i.e. in Ma Ma's hair as you can see![]()
3) Diffuse to smooth/blend everything together
So, on to the updateI was struggling a lot with the bottom and began experimenting with a frame again... I know you guys preferred it without a frame, but wanted to see what you think about this one. Oh, and I also applied a few adjustment layers. What do you think?
