Saturated looks best.
A designer knows he has achieved perfection - not when there's nothing left to add - but when there's nothing left to take away

Really fantastic, powerful design work!

On the front, what if you were to make some of the text a different color, just to differentiate things a little bit?
(i.e. Perhaps go for a darker color on the tag line and Tarantino text to give them less prominence and give the rest of the design and text more attention).

Also, maybe the chain could be a tiny bit more gray to help it jump out just a little more?

And maybe the leading/line spacing on the tag line could be decreased a little?

Outstanding stuff, and the back already looks to be on its way toward greatness as well.

I prefer the desaturated version - some good points by BD as well :)

Great work on this so far!

One thing that strikes me is the phrase 'the new film by Quentin Tarantino.' I think this is more befitting of current promo material - posters etc. - than a BD cover, purely because when you look back on this a year or two down the line it will no longer be 'the' new Tarantino film.

Maybe just 'a film by...' would be better? Or perhaps 'a picture by..' / 'a motion picture by...' to give it a more dated feel.

Thanks alot for the response guys! :)

Think I'm gonna go with a saturation between the two previews. Went from -37 on the desaturated preview to -17 and that looked smooth imo.

I like your suggestion Tim, and will try it out.

Good point Shaw. Will change that one.
