Cover Competition
It's not been posted on here, it's been posted on a certain region one only site. The reason i'm not gonna enter anymore is that, lets say 90% of my cover is made up of this map, and the other cover is made completely from the map. Therefore by the juding critera i have lost nearly 25 points from the onset, for originality, or in my case, lack of it. I could have kept this cover under my hat and entered anyway but i feel gutted by the others existance. It was uploaded by 'unkown' and looks like a quick cut and paste cover, using a awesome scan (far superior to my efforts) but is almost indentical to mine. I'll upload it to the gallery but i don't think it can go in the comp as an original entry anymore.

This was my 5th attempt mate. This comp gave me something to work towards at least and got me making covers again. I think i'll just resign from the comp and when i finish em off post em in the gallery

Powers. Just enter it anyway. It doesn't matter, you won't lose on originality, if you can see the work is done by you. The judges aren't going to be that tight!!! Just enter it anyway, you have nothing to lose!!!!!

the excisting cover you speak of is of questionable quality, a good vectorised weathered version with a better title treatment for this movie would be nice.

My covers may only be viewed on well calibrated screens and printed on well calibrated printers.

just a little extra point.....................should we include the retail version to assist with voting?
another small point.....................should vector art, free-hand art and cover-art have differing voting critera?
i actually enjoy drawing freehand and have adapted it to a couple of my covers...............notably the Hulk.
but, it is time consuming and never seems to merit the effort!
maybe...................we should ditch blogs and RCA type sections in favour of an alternative art section......just an idea of course............no harm mean't
multi-posting ........................... ILLEGAL
