That would be easier to do in InDesign; I know of no way to do it in PS, other than having two text boxes (That is how I do it in PS)
Backside looks much better; credits looks good. I'm still not sold on the spine paper. Perhaps just have the spine in the same color as the paper?

I think JR's right... you'll probably have to use two separate text boxes for the columns. I don't really use InDesign much, but it is a better program for text layout, although with a little bit of time and patience, you can accomplish what you want to do in PS.

try to keep the same amount of free space all around your two text blocks in the synopsis. Much too crambed now.

You have some big gabs in the right text box; you'll need to play around with it some. Sometimes giving a text a fraction of a pt helps, and once printed noone can see if the text is written in 6 pt or 6,1 pt.

You can save some space by making the R (Registered Trademark) sign small thus:
