Your Avengers poster is without a shred of doubt the single best Avengers poster in existence, counting all official and fan made posters out there - I am VERY happy to have it gracing my custom Blu-ray cover.

Thanks again for an excellent batch of updates, I hope you take the feedback from everyone who loves what you do to heart more so than that of those who haven't gotten the memo that requests are a major no-no.

I do however have a comment regarding the "Dredd" (2012) and "Judge Dredd" (1995) covers. It is neither a request or intended critism, so please don't take it as such - just a comment.

Both are labelled as IPC Media collection, which isn't consistent with the labelling of the rest of the comicbook collection, and it is also incorrect as far as "Dredd" (2012) is concerned.

While IPC Media was the corporate owner of Judge Dredd from 1977 to 2000, they were never a brand associated with Judge Dredd, as they even released the comic under their Fleetway imprint for most of the time. Most Judge Dredd readers have never even heard about IPC Media, and certainly don't associate it with Judge Dredd. Labelling "Judge Dredd" (1995) as "IPC Media Collection" is as such akin to labelling the various Batman movies as "Time Warner Collection" rather than under the more appropriate DC brand. As for "Dredd" (2012), there is no relation between it and IPC media. The independant company Rebellion have owned 100 % of Judge Dredd and all associated characters and brands for more than a decade, and they ahve done far more for the characther than IPC ever did.

The appropriate brand for Judge Dredd is, and has always been, 2000 AD.
That is the name of the anthology magazine Judge Dredd originated in, the magazine where the majority of his adventures appear to this day, and for the past decade, the name of the comic imprint Rebeleion publishes him under.

Case in point, the official Judge Dredd website is 2000AD's homepage, http://www.2000adonline.com/

To sum it up, where Spider-man is a Marvel and Batman is a DC; Judge Dredd is a 2000 AD.
Just sayin.

Noted. I'll make the change on all covers when I have a shred of free time (which is practically never lately).

I never knew much about Dredd, being in the US he's not that popular here, but thanks for the lengthy explanation.

I thought about mentioning the 2000 AD thing but I didn't want to make a request! ;)

No problem, thanks for being understanding.

I am a huge fan of Judge Dredd, which I personally consider among the best comics ever made.
While the 1995 is in my collection ONLY because your excellent cover graces it, this years Dredd movie was among the best CBMs and best adaptations overall I have ever seen. Pains me beyond words that chances of a sequel are slim to none.
Still, looking forward to having both movies next to each other in my shelf with the updated covers - in your own time, of course.

Oh, and if anyone was blown away by the 2012 movie and wonder where to begin reading Judge Dredd, I'll be happy to compile a shortlist.

Hey!! :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

Stop using my thread to promote your own "news" thread!! Half the stuff you post as "breaking news" is erroneous, a rumor, or stuff I've read weeks/months ago! :D :D :D

(Just kidding, JR... ;) )

Sorry for the thread-jack Andy! - and you are also very welcome to chip in with even more updates, since I'm old and grey apparantly! :Papy:

Judge Dredd (1995) and Dredd (2012) have been renamed from the "IPC Media Collection" to the "2000 AD Comics Film Collection," to fit the proper branding as explained (in great detail) by norse_sage.

Enjoy. :D
