color in post #44 is the better design for you. In designing you should always listen to your peers, and your peers don't like the green color. You must only wish to become master here. I don't like the smell of you. Something reeks of sea food gone bad bad bad

Whether or not this is your first time making a custom cover, one thing stands out: This looks great.

Have you considering shifting things around a bit to put the title and actor names up top and move your design more toward the middle? With the tagline, ~8 characters, and that vehicle up top versus mostly blackness at the bottom, you're a bit top-heavy at the moment. I think that's partially why you felt inclined to add a goombah holding the case in your preview.

Perhaps an arrangement along these lines could help balance things out a little more?

I agree that, if you start a WIP thread, you should always read and consider what everyone has said. They honor your work by offering compliments and suggestions, you honor their opinions by thinking about what's being said and (ideally) trying everything out.

But, by trying out the different options, he has listened.

Whether or not he then chooses to use one option over another is up to him. 2 or 3 guys preferring the other color after looking at the design for 30 seconds shouldn't immediately trump the opinion of the designer who's been spending hours building the cover, regardless of how highly you or I may value those guys' opinions.

I was only posting that reply to get him to come out of the closet in public. I already know who Goombah really is, so I'm just having a joke on him. I know that he can take it. This may be my only chance like EVER to be his peer

JollyRoger, I understand. Peers have good advice and the more thought can imagine even greater works.

The colors before create problems for me visually i must continue and not become cold.
