Please keep this set going. It was the sole reason I payed for access to the site.

This goes for me as well. I bought a subscription to this site based on your incredible work, and I get excited every time I see there's something new. I'd love for you to keep it going :)

Thx bunches for The Walking Dead - and continue please - whenever you have the time :)

Congrats on the engagement. Obviously those of us in the thread love the covers and want to see them continue. Is there a way to ask this question branching out from this thread or to showcase this collection in a way that maybe some people that aren't aware of it will be? I hate to see it end, but if you have to, you have to. It's a great collection and I don't think anyone could hold it against you if you "retired" this collection, it would be a shame to see that happen but I think we'd all understand. Perhaps if you did choose to retire it you could "pass the torch" to someone else. I know in the past there has been some interest in someone adding to your collection with your methods, maybe that's something that could still happen?

Also, on a more personal note, I also pay for this site because of your collection. I'm not sure who runs the site but they'd keep more members than not if you did continue this, something for all to be aware of.

If you do get away from it I'd certainly commission them from you, I'm sure many of us would. It'd only be appropriate considering your work on this collection and how amazing it is.

Thanks for the show of support, everyone! :D :D

I will continue to add to the collection when I have the time and ambition to do so, but please be aware that there will come a day (sooner or later) when I need to completely retire the collection, and possibly this entire hobby, and focus on other aspects of my life. When that day finally comes, I would only ask that everyone respect my decision and not ask for me to complete any unfinished covers or provide the occasional new addition. When I am ready to call it quits, I would prefer that it is on my own terms and I don't want to make any exceptions. I hope that is understandable.

As for Punisherchad's suggestion that I "pass the torch" to another designer to continue the collection... sorry, but that's not something I would like to see happen. Nothing against the other capable designers on this site, but I feel far too much ownership of my work to simply pass it off onto someone else, who may or may not invest the same amount of care and attention to detail that I have into these covers. Sorry, but when I go, the collection ends... and I would hope that the 500+ covers that I leave behind in the gallery would be enough to satisfy most comic book fans.

Now, on a happier note, here's a cover for the Dark Horse Comics adaptation of Virus (not a particularly great film from what I've heard, but it meets the criteria for entry into the collection).

Enjoy! :D :D :D

That's totally understandable Andy, I respect your decision, we all have our own lives to live :)

There isn't another collection on the web like this, people have attempted to create there own comic book collections but not to the extent and professionalism as you have. I for one thank you for this, it's been a pleasure watching it grow to extent that I'm running out of shelving lol

There are I few covers I haven't used, due to not being my taste **cough**sabrinatheteenagewitch**cough**josieandthepussycats**cough** oh excuse me, had a tickle in my throat, but I've collected nearly all the collection (sad I know).

Anyhow thanks once again, I'll keep looking out for more until that sad day comes :( lol

Thanks for the "Virus" cover, your right it's not a great film, watched it a couple of months ago and thought it was terrible lol.

Anyhow thanks once again it's one more to add to my collection :)

Thanks for understanding, gentlemen. I really appreciate it.

Here's another update... the Sci-Fi Channel (before it was SyFy) television series Painkiller Jane.

I realize that there was also a TV pilot movie with Emmanuelle Vaugier in the title role, but I can't find any high-res resources for it, otherwise I would have added it to the collection as well. Can anybody please help with that? :D :D :D

We all understand but hopefully you'll choose to add when you can for as long as it holds your interest. I really would say at this point I don't know what you could add that wouldn't be just new movies coming down the pike, you've done Steel, Tank Girl, and now Virus! I certainly understand the need to step away from a hobby, I'm a comic collector, I don't think there is a comic collector that hasn't had to step away to some degree at some point. Hopefully your retirement is a whisper on a far of wind, for on that day the hobby will loose a very passionate designer. But as someone said on the thread a few days back, the numbers of this collection speak for themselves, it's amazing what you've accomplished with this set and with all of your other unrelated covers, which should not be disregarded.
