Okay, so I know I'm the millionth person in the cover community to do a cover for one of Christopher Nolan's Batman films, but I actually had the idea and started gathering resources for this one back when I was working on my Avengers keyart. Unfortunately, now I'm going to look like an unoriginal b@stard since there are already so many amazingly beautiful Dark Knight covers going through the WIP on this site!

Anyway, as a semi-companion cover to my Avengers Archive, here is what I've been kicking around for a Dark Knight trilogy collection, referred to as "The Dark Knight Legacy." I'll probably have to pull a similar trick as Venome did to make full-body versions of Two-Face, Scarecrow, and Ra's Al Ghul, but if anybody's got any pics they think might work, I'd love it if you could put me in the direction of those images! I'm still working out placement, coloring, lighting, etc... but this is what I've put together so far.

Any thoughts?? :D

Well, you could always buy two! :D :D :D

Honestly, as proud as I am of my Comic Book Collection, I've been working on that for so many years that I need to take a break and make standalone covers to keep myself motivated. Besides, I'm sure there are members who don't want to use my Collection covers, so this provides them with another option (in addition to all of the other incredible options made by other great designers!).

:D :D :D

Great so far... a Trilogy cover is usually the way i would go and probs will do eventually.. but i agree - as a designer you really need to keep reinventing your style with fresh new ideas, so i'm glad that this standalone version is on the cards.

I'm sure Scarecrow will be no problem, i've seen body shots as well as decent head shots for him.

Nice layout so far!

I'm not sure about the rain mixed with the flares. Maybe if there was a visible source of flares on the right side, it would better contrast the rainy, blue left side?
