been a while since ive opened up photoshop and actually started something, new comp so literally nothing installed. here is my take on the Avengers, inspired by Kernie and his dam fine cover(this one wont be even half as good as that one) :D :thumb:

Iron Man for me is the 'Most Iconic' character so hes on the front. The effects on the bottom are currently there from testing, but i like them so may keep them there or include them somewhere later on.

added some battle damage to Iron Mans helmet and a little on his side and like Kernie i also believe that Iron Man should have his helmet on, not off. I still need to cut out the hair of Hulk and Black Widow. I will add a TT to it once i have the characters layed out but im gonna need an Avengers Assemble logo too. Trying to think of some stuff to put into the background too atm, but may go along the lines of whats been seen in the posters but add my own spin on it.

Now I can see your preview. It wasn't loading properly at first.

Why are you wasting time cutting out hair? Venome uploaded great PNG files with transparent backgrounds to the Hires Resources section of most of the characters! Go grab those!

Also, Black Widow doesn't look big enough to be standing between Iron Man and Cap. And of course, you'll adjust the colors to match, right?

I will say though that the general idea seems an awful lot like mine. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, but I'm hoping you're going to do something that distinguishes it as your own. :D

Have to agree with Kernie and say that I think this should have a bit more variation from his version...

I agree - Does look a lot like Kernies at the moment, will await to see more though.

only that is a bit hard, as kernie's version is a lot like some of the official studio keyart style for these movies... But that being said I also agree that you're running dangerously close to the edge... I'd take a step back. ;)

I never said he shouldn't do it, JR, or that mine was drastically different than the studio keyart... only that he should find a way to make his unique. Right now, they're both character collages against a cloudy sky with sparks in the foreground.
