All handmade Felipe. A custom brush that's set to a low spread (is it called that in the english PS?). Plain yellow on the base and then added an orange inside glow and red-ish outer glow. After that I tweaked the spread and sparkles using warp. Last but not least playing with levels, opacity and blur...
I think there's a good tutorial out there on the interwebs explaining some of it (and much more) but I can't seem to find it again. Search for something like "Fire Effect" or "Burning Effect" - that's how I learned (the tutorial is pretty much how to set an object/person on fire but the sparkles are part of it).
