Where did your nickname come from?
Started in School. I got called LongDon which progressed to LongDonger and finally just Donger.
What part of the world do you come from?
Canada
What got you into designing covers/labels in the first place?
Needed labels for my back-up discs and wasn't always happy with what was available so I stated making my own.
Is there anyone on the cover/label making scene that has inspired you?
Kernie, JR, Voetz, SXS, etc.
What would be your best advice to any up and coming designer?
Look at what others have done and try to copy it. Eventually you'll learn something new and be able to apply that to your own creations.
What’s your favourite cover/label you have made?
Probably my Goonies label or my I Am Legend cover.
What’s your least favourite cover/label you have made?
Take your pick. I've made a lot of crappie labels.

I design the cabinets for the inside of motorhomes

What was your childhood like? Share an interesting "growing up" story.
Childhood was great. I learned to ride a bike at the age of 4 by doubling my dad. He'd balance the bike and I would peddle and aim. Eventually I decided he could walk.
What is your favourite food?
Meat
Tell us about your best vacation.
San Diego Comic Con 2001 or the Bachelor Party in Amsterdam for my buddy. Both were great but I remeber more of what happened in San Diego.
What is your favourite type of music/band?
It'd be easier to list what I don't like. I hate manufactured pop bands.

Tommy Chong. Dude's gotta have some awesome stories.
If you could be one person, who would it be and why?
Ron Jeremy. Look at all the women he's had s3x with and his pecker hasn't fallen off. Or Bill Gates. I could use the financial security.
What super power would you have, and why?
I'd like to be able to freeze time while I alone would still be able to move around freely.

I'd steal a 1932 Ford 5 window highboy coupe and drive the wheels off it.
