has your upload been rejected?
TRY READING THE UPLOAD RULES!!

jeeeez i was just looking at the latest topics,and most of them are rejected uploads,and mostly because their the wrong size,o.k. i can forgive people who are a few pixels out(i'm not as anal as filmboy )but this is a hi-res site,and some people have uploaded covers at 1500x1000.(or worse)
fair enough this is now a pay site,but that doesn't give people the right to upload any old shit.
filmboys a busy dude,and imo all new members should be sent an e-mail about what is expected of uploads,and
if they need a pointer or help then fair enough,but if it's the wrong size or not 300 dpi just delete it,without a post.

i see that loads of covers are still being uploaded with incorrect dimensions.
filmboys still posting the incorrect dimension in dupes and errors.

what do you think?should he be wasting his time doing this?

I really don't think there's a reason for it. I mean the dimensions are there and easy enough for me to find themm quickly (And I will admit to being the laziest beastie when it comes to reading rules) and I found them. So everyone else shoudl manage it.

Mind you I've yet to upload a cover, though am working on making a bunch of them.... *glances at some of the original covers and shudders*

There is no excuse for being even one pixel off. There are templates readily available to ensure covers are correct in size. My question is how many rejections does one person get before he gets a "red card"?

There are templates? Damn. I've been doing this the old fashion way with rulers in Photoshop and there are templates... I seriously need to read better.

You only need 1 post today and you can download everything you need in one go , if afterwards you need something else post the next day and come back for more

Or just come back to join in the fun in the community here.... everybody is laid back and helpful... nobody with their noses stuck up looking down on somebody who isnt a photoshop master.... all except Corky... once she sets her evil eyes on u... thats it... ur done... might as well give up....

Irrob has the right idea I think. Say, 5 rejections for the same reason and you lose the upload priviledge until you post 5 good ones in the wip section. Or something along those lines maybe. Not sure if this would add to the workload of the mods but in the long run it might weed out the morons.
