Kernie has managed to keep his title for the second month running. Will he be the first ever to hold the title for three months in a row? Let's see who has got what it takes, with this months chosen theme for Bridesmaids (2011)

Entries must be in by 25th January, and may not be uploaded anywhere else until voting has finished. The winner will receive their own personal copy of "Bridesmaids (2011)" on DVD or BluRay.

Remember, you may ONLY use what is already* available in the resource gallery to create your cover. You may not use any other stock images, movie related or not, to create your entry. You may manipulate any of the available resources to use on your cover, and you may create your own images (backgrounds, vector art etc) You may use any brushes, photoshop actions etc.

Please send your completed entries to [email protected]. Remember to include your member name with your submission. Failing to do so may result in your cover not being entered into the competition.

I don't know, Bazzah... I think they're all too afraid to even TRY to take the belt away from me! Only the Great & Powerful Bunny Dojo even DARED face me in last month's competition!

I'm here... I'm waiting... who will step up to the challenge? I hope there will be many contenders, but for those that are too chicken... what will be your excuses for not entering this month? Nobody has the "hectic holiday season" excuse to cling to, and I picked a current, popular film with plenty of resources this time!

Bring your A-game, ladies and gentlemen! I want to see plenty of entries and a good, honest, knock-down-drag-out fight for the HRC Belt!!

Let the games begin!!

:D :D :D :D :D :D

I know you mentioned in your PM that you wanted to boost the trash talk in hope of inspiring more people to participate, but I'm more worried about recycling than trash this month. It's going to be a real challenge creating an entry that looks better than the retail, and even more so without recycling the poster or resorting to a 'boxes' layout.

I wasn't a tremendous fan of the movie, or else I'd submit one of the aforementioned box-based designs. :) :ashamed:

Forget battling the Kernmeister, this month you're battling yourself to achieve the significant feat of creating a truly great comedy design.

Not sure what retail art you're looking at, BD, but I think the Region 1 Blu-ray art is absolutely dreadful and could use a few good customs here in our gallery.

Ok, that made me go scrounging - I simply had to what you guys were talking about. This is what I came up with.

US Back

Look! It comes in a Slip Case! Hence the barcode in the middle of nowhere.... ;)

Also some other designs

Here's the Nordic back (... and if you thought the US back was bad!!! :yikes: )

[attachment=18709:ny_brude...y_190844.jpg]

and lastly two other designs (custom?)

Last one is the worst IMHO! Look how fat they all are on the front!!! :D :D
