Ok, so this was a fun little experiment. I didn't actually use many tools nor resources to design this one, but since I'd never done a comedy cover in this style, I thought it would be a good title to practice on. So in some aspects creating this artwork was a challenge, since I deliberately tried to create something that was far from what I usually do.

I forgot to mention in my wip thread that I shamelessly got the idea for trying myself out in this style over the last few months or so, having had the opportunity to scrutinize some of the great designs by our own Big Bunny. Especially the light colors and minimalistic approach of his Groundhog Day cover, which I recalled as one that really stood out in that competition I think it won, but also other designs - gave me some well-needed pointers when deciding on elements/shapes aso. Hope that is ok with you buddy

I would also like to say that I really appreciate the comments and suggestions I had on this wip - so thx guys - you know who you are! ;)

Too bad you closed the wip topic before i could posted...

Everything looks great and this is a lovelly cover but you know i like to nitpick everything so... i think the synopsis is too close to Mr Roth and that's something you could adjust. Apart from this, great work bro!

Oh, and btw Thanks for the COTM nomination Felipe! Altho I don't suspect a cover in this style have a chance against those smashing action packed covers some members here spew out lately ;)

Who knows? I won last month with Ben-Hur and it's a classic title! And you know people vote for their favorite movie, not for their favorite design :)

That's a even worse! :laughin: I always pick weird movie titles noone have ever heard of or even seen! :D :D

btw - I really wish members would start to vote based on the elements/design of fullsize covers and not their fav buddy-boy, fav movie or just what's newest ;)
