better. I think you should desaturats the old photo some, perhaps even give it a slight sepia tone overlay at a low opacity. :)

I'm having some real problems with this one, help needed.

I still have to make the paperclip look older, and give a slight sepia tone to the front pic. of the austronauts.
Ignoring the spine and front for now, the back gives me the most "problems":
Still working on the credits/legal/logo's ...

i fail at:
- can't get the newspaper to look old (and i'm really looking for a how-to, i've looked and tried but sofar no luck)
- can't get the "lines" where the polaroids are beeing put in, convincing enough
- what's a good font for (above the legal) apollo18movie.net?
____________
still to do a SF part, maybe enhance with some slides? busy on that.

____________________
what is good enough to use? (see bigger picture) the poloaroid on the left or right ... (somehow i've got a feeling someone is gonna say: a combination of...)

For the love of .... i have no idea how to seperate these pics.? just bare with me here... How the hell do i seperate these pics??? looks almost creepy ;)

Polaroid on the left looks better, Try using a crumpled paper texture blended over top of your news paper with a little level adjustment and some colour overlay to yellow it a little.

If the angled lines are to show slats in the folder to hold items, perhaps add sheets of paper under the lower row, then you can attach the pic to one of the papers.

Then to make it look authentic, don't just add a drop shadow to a line, you need to create a new layer of the background, then mask out the top in the shape of the folder slit. Then add a subtle brownish drop shadow. This will not look perfect, as the drop will be everywhere around the whole mask. Just right click on the layer and go to 'create layer'. This will turn your drop shadow into a layer. Then just add a mask to it and black brush out all the areas that aren't part of the slat.

hope that makes sense... That is what I did on this preview:

What are the lines on the back behind the polaroid meant to be? are they "just" lines or do they represent lines from the space vehicle?

If you're going to use the torn newspaper article I might suggest trying your SF area in a simlar style or as a piece of notepaper stuck up with the same tape or drawing pins (thumb tacks)

As you've got the synopsis labeled as Lunar Module Transcription it makes it sound very official, you could possibly try doing that in an official report style, but have the paper also looking old so as to match in with the covers style

I think you could almost try giving that polaroid a bit of creasing and maybe a dog eared corner?
