If your able to use the 1st TT with slight texture overlay, would it stand out ok without the drop shadow m8?

Looking at the new one again, I think you should maybe move the car and men back a touch so they're less in the foreground. It'll give a better feeling of isolation, as in the original poster art.
Just a little further down the road would be perfect.

Thanks a lot, Joe

Update. Made the car and characters smaller, moved them back some. Good call JW. It does work better like this  Added my own forest colors. Made the TT drop shadow a lighter color and dropped the opacity. If removed completely, the TT loses it's 'pow',and does not stand out, sry V. Added some slight texture though, which works better than the previous one.

I know you want to get away from the monochromatic poster art, but it seems you've got a little too much on your palette currently.
I'd be tempted just to adjust the levels etc. on the men and the car so they're a little less red and more green. Only a little bit.
Equally, I'd tone down the yellow of the road/edges.
It's just that at the moment is still looks a bit put together rather than a single image in which the men are actually on that road.
I think the green of the trees plays well off the yellow of the TT, so you should carry the green tones through the rest of the image, without getting too monochromatic.

Much better bud. still think you should knock out some of the colour and make some level adjustments to bring everything together. dont go nuts though :P

Venome's suggestion looks good. Maybe retain the colour in the TT and names, and take the edge off the main image.
Try an adjustment layer, or a black layer set to colour mode, so you can play with it a bit.

Also, maybe go a little bigger with the tagline now you have space?

P.S: Where did you find the image of the car/men? Is it a screeny from the bluray?
