Thx Z - will see about those marks for the next update.

Here's what I'm playing around with for the front atm. I may go with a different hue than the pink/rose, haven't decided yet. Does it work?

Ok, I've put Lebowski on hold for now. Have some other ideas I wanna try out for that title. But that is neither here nor there atm.
This collection have to get going, even though I also need to , sometimes, work on other projects, to keep me modestly sane.

Anyway - I just received this movie on BD, and have yet to watch it, but having seen the trailer I decided to start out.
As it is a gangster flick, I'll be trying to hit that classic cover style, which I previously have used for this genre.
The artwork around for this movie, being 21 yrs old, is of dubious resolution for the most part, but with some manipulation I think I can work around that.

As always I will be making a stand-alone version as well...

Here's the start... I've had a helluva time trying to match the original TT, and in the end the hours spend scrounging on the net for the proper font (which whatdafont couldn't figure out) gave me absolutely ziltch! So, I loaded my FontExplorer X Pro, to try and find something else.
After many tries, I actually found a very close substitute font, in my own font library :D

Comments, suggestions and so on, is of course very welcome!

The original picture had an awful sepia tone, which I've toned down, and added my own, more richly coloured one. That one was then desaturated some before I started colourizing. Now, I'm not really sure... What say ye? With or without colour?

I'd go the colour route but it will probably be a pain in the bum getting it all spot on :P

Stick with the color and see how it turns out. What blending mode are you using? Looks a little too saturated at the moment.

Thx :)

For blending modes, it's a mixture of several; i.e. overlay, color. Some of these color layers have the opacity lowered as well. I'll play some more with it - seeing public opinion so far wants me to continue colouring.

I think you need to see more details in the jackets.

Bc of that bright background maybe darken it a little
