Yeah, I saw the hi-res Riddle diary in venome's files. I think that's what made me think that all the Horcruxes had a hi-res image available, didn't really consider that some images might not exist for the others.

Of course, you could always try to "fake" some of the Horcruxes (like the ring, diadem, and cup) with some approximate matches?

JR, this is absolutely lovely. I like it very much. ;)

What would your front frame look like if it was more embossed - like the lines and flourishes on the spine do? Perhaps that wouldn't work, but just a thought.

Keep up the great work. Look forward to an update. :D

This is fantastic!

I've been pretty excited with the improvements I've made updating my HD DVD covers to Blu-rays using new skills learned in the years in between, but what you're doing here is particularly impressive. As nice as that original design was, you've grown by leaps and bounds.

Out of curiosity, how would the title (and "The Complete Collection") look if you applied the same styling you used on the emblem on the front? That's not necessarily a suggestion on improvement, I'm just curious to see how it would look, if it would make sense or if it looks a bit flat (or takes away from the work you've done on the book).

Suggestion-wise, perhaps remove that "ping" of light on the left side of the glasses' frame, since that area seems to be a bit dark?

Really nice job overall! If the back ends up anywhere near as well done as the front, this will easily be my favorite JR cover yet. :)

Thanks a lot guys! :D Keeps up my mojo! :D

Anyways... Can't decide what to do with the front border, so tried out something completely different; idea nicked from a book cover from the shop at the Harry Potter Theme Park...

How does this look? And any ideas how to better incorporate the TT?

Or should I can this idea and go back to the old border or even make a new one?

I personally think it's too much and distracts from the awesome work you did on the glasses, wand, crest, and TT.

What about using that ornament as corners for the front border? You can connect the corners with a solid or double line.

If I'm being brutally honest (and you know that I will always be), I think this is a step in the wrong direction. The old version was far better. This new one is way too busy and complex.

If you insist on keeping the background glyph, can you drop the Fill color (yellow) to 0% opacity and just let the layer styles (the bevel and pattern overlay) interact with the red background? It may be less distracting then... :D

Here it is with the slimmer border, but with new corners, made from the swirls on the spine. :) I think this is better. :)

I really like this border JR! Perfect for the front; adds detail without distraction.

Awesome cover BTW, really coming together... now where to find a 8-disc blu-ray case, lol!
