Excellent Job on this set. I'm looking forward to seeing your angel covers when you find the time.

Awesome set Andrew!! Really impressive work!

I know this isn't a request topic, but i'm not one of those who are always claiming for more so... i'd love to see you trying something similar to "Supernatural" :D (and forget Harry Potter, i'm cooking something for the movies) ;)

Impressive work mate :) Just downloaded the last season, very nice indeed, haven't watched the series for a couple of years so I think this will be good time to start.

Will be looking out for Angel if and when you find the time, wouldn't mind seeing your take on Charmed or Supernatural, don't worry not a request just wishful thinking :)

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

As for Supernatural or Charmed, I don't think I'll be tackling those. Unfortunately, I never watched either show and if I have no interest in the shows, it makes it hard to spend all the time and get really invested in making covers for them. Sorry. I have nothing against either show, in fact, I've heard Supernatural is quite good, and Charmed does have its charm (Alyssa Milano... ), but I'm just not motivated to do covers for them.

Angel, however, is a darn good possibility for the near future. But, the school year started today, so free time is going to be a lot more limited.

Thanks again, glad to know the covers are re-igniting interest in the show! :D

Just uploaded the super-thick spine versions to the gallery. These are meant for the 6-7 disc Alpha cases that are listed in Hires' uploading dimensions, which have a spine thickness of 591 pixels. I realize these are a bit too thick for most folks who prefer and/or require spacesavers, but I think the thick spines better capture the idea of an old encyclopedia-ish book that would have been housed in Giles' occult library. I'm also aware that Season 1 only had three discs, but I figured for the OCD people like me, you'd want consistent spine widths, even if the S1 case has a few empty disc holders in it.

I would like to do a compromise and make a thinner thick-spine version (since I'm aware that these 591px spines will take up much shelf space), but I'm not sure what a typical medium-width spine's pixel width is. JollyRoger, should I perhaps use the template you gave me oh-so-long-ago for the Smallville covers? I'm just trying to get an idea of how big to make the medium-width spines.

Anyway, here's a look at the spines for the thick-spine covers... I think they look sweet (even if they eat up considerable shelf space).
