Probably the most intriguing one yet. Count me in with those whose interest has been piqued thanks to these sets. As someone who missed it the first time around, I added the series to my Netflix instant queue to see if it can live up to the covers. :) I would've already been a season in, but I got sidetracked by the suggestion of Dollhouse. ;)

Glad to hear you might check out the show! To be honest, I wouldn't judge Buffy by what you see of Dollhouse. Maybe it's just me, but I was never fully hooked by Dollhouse, mainly because it was too existential, dark, and serious for a Joss Whedon show, I think it severely lacked his trademark witty dialogue and pop-culture references, which is what was initially so much fun about Buffy. Plus, the fact that the main character was essentially a "blank slate" with no real personality of her own, and her character changed from week to week based on the assignment, made it really difficult to latch on to her and the other "doll" characters (which again, the characters and their interactions are what was so strong about the early Buffy days).

Buffy's first three years are generally regarded as the show's golden years (although they also sport some really lame standalone episodes, but the main arc of each season is far more satisfying). Ironically though, some of Buffy's best episodes came in the show's later seasons, like "Hush," "Restless," "Once More, With Feeling," and "The Body" (which is still the most realistic depiction of natural death and grief I've ever seen on movies or television).

My advice... watch Buffy and then watch Angel. For me, Angel's scope became much more epic than Buffy's and each season mixed things up and changed the tone of the show, with the third and fifth season being particularly well-done.

But again, that's just me... :P

These sets are coming along superbly :)

1 more set to go :P

Will you be doing the angel ones also? 1 of my fav characters from angel was from season 1 was Allen Doyle played by Glenn Quinn (such a shame he died of an overdose) really did miss that character in later seasons :(

Finally finished Season 7 after Hurricane Irene left me without power for 2 days (although I'm very thankful, it could have been worse).

Also, to answer Demonology's question, I do plan to do the Angel sets at some point soon. I actually thought Angel evolved into the better show. At the moment, I'm putting together some of the "thick spine" Buffy sets. I should have those conversions uploaded within a few days.
