Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Hey, nice font! Not sure it works for the quote though... Maybe, like JR suggests, I should go with the old font and all capitals.
The dark grey for the synopsis works, but it's very difficult to find a brighter grey tone for the names, without them going invisible. The background consists of the whole spectre of grey. I've tried with a brownish/grey for the names. Also added credits.

Make the quote bigger and almost the entire width of the back cover. Or, use a different font, like Arial Black or something similar to the Planet font. But I definitely think the quote should be bigger.Zungam wrote:QUOTE (Zungam @ Aug 17 2011, 09:38 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>The dark grey for the synopsis works, but it's very difficult to find a brighter grey tone for the names, without them going invisible. Just BOLD the actor names, don't bother changing the color at all.
Another update:
Bolded the names and increased the quote. Also added some balancing monkeys, and stills. Couldn't find any movie related pictures of Lithgow (strange...), so used another picture I found of him. The stills aren't adjustet completely yet... How does it look?

Much better!
Although I'm not sure about using a picture of Lithgow that isn't from the movie. I'm sure something of Lithgow from Rise of the Planet of the Apes can be dug up... I'll look around. Maybe a screengrab from a TS (not that I'm endorsing piracy, but it might be the only way until you can screencap the DVD in a few months)?
EDIT: I'll see if there's anything of Lithgow in the Quicktime HD trailer as well, thus avoiding piracy completely...

Looking nice! I agree with kernie, using a pic from another movie is something I wouldn't do for the screencaps. You could also take a look at the trailers and take a snapshot from there, I think he was in all the trailers I saw.
What I'm not completely on board with is the quote, it looks better with the "apes font" but it looks too boring all in single line. How about placing it a little like the TT? Say in two or three lines instead of one, with the long P's and L's and such? Something like this perhaps (but with the apes font):

And lower it down a bit, it's too close to the top. You might also have to rearrange the synopsis if you try that out , maybe start it next to Caesar's fist instead of above it?
