You're probably right, sauron. It's hard to see the exact colour tones on the crappy TS. I was gonna reduce the TT on the spine before last preview, but forgot :thumb: Really appreciate all the comments and suggestions guys. Keep 'em coming! :)

Struggling with the back now... My first idea was to use the whiteboard you see in Franco's office, with brain x-rays, DNA strings etc., but I don't think it fits well with the front. Would probably have worked better with the ape evolution front...

I really like the front cover but the TT still gets lost in the smoke, I think you need to find a better colour to separate it from the background colour.

I think if you just add a light drop shadow to the tt it will stand just fine imo

I say go with your idea for the back and see how it looks, a back does not always have to "flow" from the front, they can be two separate entities and work very well IMHO.

Update:

Toned down the brown on the front, added a little shade to the TT to make it stand out. Decreased the size of TT on spine. Might go even smaller if I choose to add a picture there...

Started with the back. Not shure which style I'm going for... This is perhaps to simple compared to the front? Anyone got a decent synopsis, or a link? Also gonna add some SF's, but these will of course be corrected when the information is released.

Nightrider: Might mess around with the idea if I'm not satisfied with this back :)

Edit: I'm also thinking of adding a couple of apes behind/besides Einstein himself.

Nice start on the back but you may wanna sort that qoute out.....
You plan on adding anymore? love to see an image of John Lithgow on there somewhere.
The emotional bridge between Caeser and Charles Rodman (Will's Father) was incredibly done and one
of the most important parts of the film.

Lithgow is such an under-rated actor just wish he'd get some real recognition!!! (he was the best serial killer in the dexter series too)

Update:

Quote working better now? I'm having trouble finding any good pictures of Lithgow, but I'm planning on putting him among the stills :)

The synopsis isn't so hard to read as it seems on the preview.

What about this Planet of the Apes font for the quote? It's free! :D :D

Also, no need for the italics in the quote, I think it just makes it look more awkward.

Try the entire synopsis in the gray you're using on the actor names, with perhaps a slightly lighter gray (not too much, just something noticeable) for the actor names.

Keep going!

What would the quote look like in all capitals?
A designer knows he has achieved perfection - not when there's nothing left to add - but when there's nothing left to take away
