well either way i'll see the move, same thing for Superman and who knows maybe i'll really like it. I recently watched The two English dubbed anime version of Wolverine and Iron man and I really wasn't impressed at all I didn't care for either of them.

Wolverine just seemed to cocky and wimpy and for what ever reason something about the iron man just did excite me. But maybe things will pick up and get better it is just the first episode of each show.

Matalo Matalo Bane Bane!

I'm sure those are just Catwoman's special batpod fancy driving goggles, they are still silly looking. Bane looks like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, but this movie is still the best thing I've ever seen and I haven't even seen it yet. I have total faith in TDKR because of Nolan and Co. but some of the things they are showing look a bit silly out of context, or rather, in context but not in motion. My expectation for this movie is that they make the best they can which will probably be 1000% better than anyone expects. Everyone gets so wrapped up in TDK that they forget how excellent Batman Begins was and the overall stellar casting. Tell me there's anyone better than Liam Neeson for R'as Al Ghul or better than Gary Oldman for Jim Gordon, just great stuff. What if Joseph Gordon-Levitt is Dick Grayson in the movie, how amazing would that be? Here's hoping for a quick bust of a villain like in TDK, maybe Scarecrow again? I wonder how they'll address the Joker or if they will at all...

Although I'm not sure about Cavill's face... doesn't look clean cut enough for Superman...

Agreed. And Geez, that HAIR! There was also a picture of him as Clark and the hair also looked really goofy...
Fortunately the suit looks OUTSTANDNING. I was hoping they'd go with the exact same suit as Superman Earth One, but this is even better!

I can't say I'm happy with Catwoman's "mask". Up to now I've loved all of the trilogy's costumes (including Bane's mask) but this is way too bland... Sure, it's realistic, but come on, they could've kept more from the comic and looked serious and realistic too. I still hope she'll only use this part of the film and then put the real thing on... Maybe a trailer could change my mind :S

Have you seen this? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B005G5NPD8 Looks like the 70s Cap will be getting a 1-disc release from Shut! Factory in November.

I'm waiting before I pass a personal opinion on the new Superman suit and Cavill's overall look until I see more. I recall when they first starting leaking images of Bale as Batman a year or so prior to the film's release and thinking, "seriously that looks gay-a$$, it's got 3 different shades of black, hes wearing dumbass gauntlets that are too big, etc." But the final result later was "wow" So I'm waiting.

From what I've seen of Bane, it looks good so far. Not sure on that goggle look for Hathaway, but I have faith in Nolan Co. :)

IMO the Nolan franchise so far has been the ULTIMATE Batman to hit the big screen. I'm rather sure the third film will rock as well!

I'm just hoping someone over at DC will make the Man of Steel follow suit - the Soops franchise has always been corny (no matter how much I loved the first 3 Reeve films as a kid). I was soooo disappointed with 'Returns', coz it was made as a tribute to the already outdated Reeve movies. I was hoping for a revival, something to bring Soops back on the big screen for real, with all the new techniques available. And in some points it did. We could believe a man could fly - but the story was lame, the suit with the way-too-small S logo and the high-heel boots was just awful, and too much energy was spent on keeping the continuity of the first 4 films with Reeve..

I'm crossing my fingers that DC has learned their lesson and going for something new, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see....

JR, I agree with you about the Soops films, especially with Returns. I also couldn't get past the creepy stalker Superman.... Obsess much? This new one looks to have some great potential from what I've been reading and seeing so far. Hopefully it's on par with the Nolan films when it comes out. The Nolan Batman films are the standard really IMO that DC/Warner should aspire to for all their properties. Time-Warner has the hardest time bringing their characters to the screen, when it really isn't that hard. They simply have no concept of how to make superhero films. ... or cover art for those films :P

But yeah, wait and see.

DC should learn from the way Marvel has set the standard with their super hero movies!

Hey I gotta say this collection is mind blowing, I've already gotten so far replacing 4 of my blu-ray covers to yours but I'm a little unstuck - can you tell me what the spine width is as I see a lot of front/back cover on the creased edge? I believe the original cases I have are 14/15mm approx?

If need be I'll buy thinner replacement cases to show off your good work. Thanks thanks and a thousand times thanks for your efforts.

Thanks mramazing, glad you like the covers! :D :D :D

As for the cover/spine issue, I used the following dimensions (as listed in our Site Rules):

3173x1762 (127 spine) (Europe Standard) Vortex Case

To be honest, I'm confused as to why I used a European standard size, since I usually like to make things for US standards. I must have grabbed the wrong template way back when I first started converting my covers to Blu-ray. Unfortunately, now that I'm aware of my mistake, I have neither the time nor the ambition to go back and redo them all to add 20px to the spine. :(

The size I should have used was: 3118x1748 (143 spine) (US standard, 1,2,3 Disc) Viva Elite Case

Sorry about that (and to anyone else who had this issue). I honestly didn't realize it until just now.

Perhaps someone who's printed a lot of my covers could help you with what case to use. I actually am so busy designing covers and doing other projects, I've never taken the time to print a single cover I've created. Perhaps the regulars in this thread (Darksaber, Punisherchad, RRJR84, etc.) could field this one better than I could.

My sincerest apologies for never realizing I was working in the wrong dimensions this whole time... d'oh!  :duh:

Hey thanks for the quick reply, I assure you 110% you have no need to apologise your work is first rate and to be frank paying 30 pence for a case to fit your work is more than doing it justice, I wish you every luck with your current endeavours and maybe I'll have need to leech those wonderful pieces too. One more for the record THANKS!!! :yikes:
