The Comic Book Collection by Kernie
Well the reviews for Cap seem amazingly positive, haven't seen this much buzz since Kick a$$. I agree with the other comments that Iron Man I was the best so far, so am now really stoked to go see Cap next week. I will have to make do with Man Thing which I didn't know about til I saw Kernie's cover, just got it this morning, not expecting brilliance but should be fun. Thanks for the cover and letting me know it was out there.
The Smallville artwork is brilliant. Probably should say as usual
A collection to be proud of. Now - time for Man Thing heheh.
All the best guys.

Please tell that's not how she'll look for the whole movie, other wise it will be huge let down. I've pics of Bane as well recently and so far i'm not impressed at all I don't like the way he looks it's not true enough to the comics for my liking. They just might have put too much effort into the Joker in The Dark Knight and now it may feel like nothing will live up to it.
I like Catwoman's look, and I like Bane's look (although we should wait until an official full-body pic is released to fully determine it - those spy-camera set pics probably don't do it justice).
As for "true enough to the comics," you can't tell me that the Joker's look in TDK was true to the comics. Yeah, the broad strokes (green hair, white makeup, purple suit) were there, but the scars/greasy hair was a bit of a departure. As was the Scarecrow's look in Batman Begins. I think Bane and Catwoman capture the essence of the comics, while staying grounded in the "realistic" tone of Nolan's films. Let's not forget... for better or worse, Penguin and Catwoman in Batman Returns were also quite a departure from the comics.
I may live to eat these words, but so far, I'm not complaining about anything I've seen from TDKR (except that the teaser trailer didn't show us enough).
I think TDKR is going to be a disappointment to many fans no matter how good it is. Expectations are simply too high after TDK. Like you said, RRJR, for a lot of people, nothing will live up to it.
