I don't understand the template for film covers, I've been wanting to make more film covers, and I know that I made Tron Legacy a long time ago. I'm mainly confused with the logos. For instance, if I wanted to make a Green Latern cover on Blu-ray, how would I know what legal information to write down?
When I download a template from this website, it's filled with all of these specifications that confuse me. How do I know whether to put that the move contains two different languages, or that it runs in widescreen but also in 4:3. There's so many small little logos and boxes for the legal information, that I am overwhelmed by them, but most importantly I want to make sure that they are correct.

Firstly i tend to look up the movie on www.dvdempire.com, there it shows a scan of the original. From that you can see which template you need to choose
I usually download a copy of that to keep while i work on a cover
it will give you a rough indication of what logo's you will need and where to place everything, aswell as all the little details such as aspect ratio, bla bla and so on
How about trying it as a WIP again and let us jump in where needed? That way you may get the hang of it while also getting valuable input form others
