I must say it looks fantastic JR.
I would put the text on front at bottom 15-20 pixels higher.

This looks awesome JR! I like the previous update better because the quotes are easier to read, other than that it looks perfect!

Thanks Felipe :) I'll darken the sky a bit - I made it bleak, coz I changed the weather from autumn to winter in the pic ;)

Hot stuff brother!!
Probably, and imo, your best work so far! Love that front and the back suits my retail taste a lot!!

Can i expect a non CB collection version?

Thanks Felipe :) If you can find me a pic of the back for that edition, why not?

Thanks hiv, didn't see your post before :) At the moment it's aligned with the BD logo on the spine. I still need to make the final adjustments on the gun; will see about the text afterwrds

I meant... a non Coen Brothers collection version brother, same cover but without the spine/front banner used for your collection.
As far as i know, this is the only version released for this title...

okidokie, in Denmark you can buy this both as a single BD, and this set with BD, DVD and a Digital Copy :)

I'll make sure to include a special version, seeing you have no love for the other covers in the collection! :blah2:

Nah, just kidding. I've always strived to make each of these covers work as stand-alone covers also - hence the minimalistic collection banner. You'll find non-collection versions of all of these covers in my other galleries.

On another note, I have yet to make a conversion, since 'O Brother where art thou?' has just been released on Blu-ray. :bandance:

Anyways, with some small changes here are the front and back

Still need to sort the gun...

Still a stills row short

2 versions of True Grit uploaded.

I'll start on the conversion for the new BD release of 'O Brother where Art thou?' as soon as my juices are back up. Thanks for your comments! Makes my job much easier, and helps to continue this collection. :)

... I can't wait to see what you do with No Country and their older stuff (i.e. Raising Arizona, The Big Lebowski, Fargo)

Raising Arizona has been on my to-do list for ages, but artwork is very scarse, sadly :(

Any help with artwork for this and the other Coen Bros movies would be very welcome!

According to Bluray.com the release of 'O Brother' has been postponed till sept 11 - so my conversion is on hold again... :cussing:

That leaves me time to start either 'No Country...' or 'The Big Lebowski'.... Hm.... Which of those titles should I do first? :chin:

Ok, so I went with THE BIG LEBOWSKI, another Coen Bros fav of mine... :)

Wanted to keep the feel of the film, but still try and do something really different from the retail releases..

Not sure which tagline I'm going with , but this is my basic idea.

Still need to clone out some minor flaws and add something for the top background...

Very cool front, JR! Maybe you could add the "aim marks" (or what's it called) on the track? Are you planning on keeping the background black?
