Hello.

These are my abandoned covers. I didn't have time (or being to lazy ^^) to finish them and now i want to domething with them.
I hope that some of you guys will try to help me finish some of them :)

Why would you abandon these? The starts to these are great... I especially love the looks of Black Swan, The Matrix and The Dark Knight. I think you need to finish these up. You look like you know what you are doing, I'm not sure what I could suggest at this point.

Well when im starting doing cover i have no idea how it will look like, when i done with front im looking at it and im thinking "yeah the front looks good but wtf i should do on back" :P

Oh, I can totally relate to that. I admire these guys who come up with great backs. To me, my favorite part is also the front/spine. But these look awesome, I would suggest maybe imitating the layouts of some of your favorite designers or retail covers. I know it's simple and kinda cheating, but when I was first trying to learn the ins-and-outs of layout, that's what I did. I owe BD and Zantasha some props for the layouts I imitated from them.

The Avatar looks just like the retail box I bought (6 disc edition) Are you sure about that?

I like the black swan and matrix covers, both are different than anything else I've seen around. The Iron Man 2 & Avatar cover made need a different approach. Avatar does look like a lot like the retail, and iron man looks similar to other versions.

Well the Avatar cover i was doing for one of friend of mine but she chose second version, so i think now its useless to finish this version.

All are worth giving a shot ;) Not too keen on 'The Dark Knight' but def 'The Matrix' and 'Black Swan'
