Jon...

There is a huge difference between taking a poster and placing it on your cover as is and what the other members here do. Yes, lots of members use poster artwork as a part of their cover, but they also spend many countless hours changing those posters so they become their own design.

You don't have to be an artist do be able to make a unique cover. I am not an artist, but am still able to put covers together without the use of a lot of poster art. you just have to use your imagination. Using posters as they are, is just the simple way out. yes, they can look good, but that's because professional studio designers put them together... It's up to us to either take what they have done and put our own spin on it, or try to come up with a whole new idea.

Well, in my humble opinion, the use of poster art is a good way to start out, if you're new to this hobby of ours and/or photoshop :)

When more comfortable, I'm sure the changing of artwork to one's own is a natural step. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I'm sure jon would like to learn designing nice and slow, if I'm not mistaking.

Please come up with an update jon - but perhaps try to clone out the pixelated text on your front and type in a new with a crisp font instead? :)

• Get the actual WB template from this site, all of the giant logos are wasting space
• you don't need rating logos on the front and spine
• Removed the cropped credit block and type it out yourself for find a psd file
• This is the MOST IMPORTANT PART, look through our Master Dedigner galleries to see how to format the back of a cover, to spond some of your own fitting ideas

The Front/spine pic looks distorted.

By the way jon, where you got that upper right pic from the still bar from? It looks like a promo shoot.
