Last film or TV show you watched and rating!
Hey guys and gals!
I thought I'd see if we all can get talking and chatting more, and I really like being able to share movies I saw and what i thought of them!
I think this is the way to get the convos flowing!

i wanted to start with the last movie I saw:
Due Date (Blu-ray Rental): 8/10
Is t just me, or do they try too hard to make comedies funny these days... the old comedies seemed so much better... like the laughs were just there every time.
Like Office Space and Night at the Roxbury.
I liked this movie, but most of the laughs seem to be forced.
Anyone else see this one?

I was watching Jennifer's Body last night. Only because I was channel hopping, and Megan Fox was there. The film itself has tons of flaws, and is generally pretty poor. The idea is quite good, but it could have been executed so much better. But then who actually cares? It's starring Megan Fox, who spends most of the film in minimal clothes. Maybe the film was better than what I am giving it credit for, but to be honest I didn't really notice
Jennifer's Body 9/10 for hetero men 3/10 for anyone else.

The most recent one that I saw in theaters was The Green Hornet...was much better than I anticipated, and if you went in expecting a goofy Seth Rogen semi-action comedy, than it was pretty fantastic. Having watched nearly the entire Green Hornet TV show from the 60s, it was a decent representation/adaptation.
A few days ago, a friend invited me to watch 127 Hours on Blu-ray. I had saw the film before, but the Blu-Ray was truly amazing, especially in comparison to the small art theater I saw it in originally. In terms of video/sound quality, one of the best films I've seen in a while. In terms of the film in general, it was well done, very well acted, and albeit a somewhat simple story; beautifully told.
I agree with you all about The Fighter, it was a great movie for it's acting, but it could have had a little bit more general direction. I saw that Mark Wahlberg is wanting to do PART 2, which would feature the 3 Ward .vs. Gatti fights that took place after the events of the film. If they get the whole cast back, I think it could be a good film as long as it is more of a direct continuation than a sequel.
