Hey all...

Well, jumping right into my next design.

This came as a request from an old High School friend of mine. His favorite movie is Ong Bak, and he asked if I could do a DVD cover for him. So of course I had to!

I really liked the resources I found, so i had to get it started!

The TT I had to make from scratch, but it turned out well IMO.

I plan to add Tony's name to it as well as maybe the director and a tag line. The movie also goes by an extended name "Ong Bak: The Thai Warrior", so I might add that too.

Thoughts?

Thanks Sxxo...

I agree about the name and title, will add it tomorrow.

I tried to match the TT colors with the orange and green on the cover, but I could make it more brown and green. Do you think Tony should be altered a bit too?

Hmmm.... this WIP is quiet, lol

Update...

K, added some more imagery to the BG, added the rest of the title and texturized it...

Thoughts?

Very nice, i like the color scheme, 2 little things the kerning on his name "Jaa" seems of a bit off and i know they probably are the same but because of the slant of the a's they seem further apart, and on the Tt have you tried to inverse the gradient on the "Thai Warrior" part of the Tt, it could be interesting, the treatment to the pic is very nice, strong start B!!

Thanks pierre, good thoughts...

I will see what might be up with his name... I din't adjust the kerning of each letter, so that was the program doing it.

I will also look into the gradient for warrior!

I'm with yesheman on the TT but I think its b/c you use the bevel on it *tsk tsk* I would take that off the TT as it kinda makes it look cheap. But other then that i like what you've done.
