I'm slightly more interested in seeing First Class because of that trailer, but as I've learned, trailers can be drastically misleading... :D

The Trailer does look better than the promo shots so I will see it hope for the best but as for the new spider-man I fear I will greatly disappointed.

I have little faith in Fox when it comes to making a good X-Men movie (X1 and X2 notwithstanding), but I have faith in Matthew Vaughn, who I thought did a great job with Kick-a$$. So I'm very torn on this one.

Although to be fair, X-Men 3 was the X-movie the 13-year-old version of myself would have loved... lots of mutant cameos, a heavier dose of action, and a paper-thin plot...

The new Spidey, well... while I'm in the popular camp of "reboot too soon," I like Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Denis Leary, so I'm fearful because of the cast, I'm just fearful because Sony *has* to make this movie in order to keep the Spidey cash cow from returning to the hands of Marvel Studios.

Follow the money...

But Cap and Thor?? I'm very very anxious for those, as well as Avengers (love Whedon's work, hoping he's up to the enormous challenge that Avengers poses).

I'm excited for Thor and Avengers, still skeptic on Captain America but I'm sure it will be great. I'm also anxious to see Green Lantern always loved that character. There's going to be a lot I want to see this summer.

My Opinion on Spider-man is they should have tried doing a live action TV Show, with smallville coming to an end it be the perfect thing to replace it and I'm sure it would out beat the Blue Bettle show.

Yeah... a live-action Spidey TV show could be interesting, but the thing with Smallville and Blue Beetle is that the CW has the backing of WB, which has a long history of bringing DC heroes to television in live-action form (Smallville, Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman, Lois & Clark, Superboy, etc.).

Marvel hasn't really worked too hard on the live-action TV front (Incredible Hulk being the only successful show) and they've had numerous failed attempts at series (Gen X, Nick Fury, Doc Strange, Blade, Night Man). This could be due to the fact that they never had the resources of a strong parent company prior to their purchase by Disney like DC had with Warner Bros.

Plus, I don't know how much I'd want to see a TV budget version of Spidey's city-swinging sequences. Smallville's effect are quite good for TV standards, but there's definitely a fakeness to them...

I'm just rambling now... :P

Not matter what it's gotta be better than the live action 70's TV show that cheese at it's purest. i don' know if you heard yet or not but the Wonder Woman TV series is being relaunch and they're working on Relaunch The Incredible hulk TV series as well.

As for the failure with the other TV movies or series they weren't big time characters compared to the likes of Superman for smallville. Wesley Snipes left big shoes to fill after the movies and the TV series budget was pretty weak as were the effects and cast.

Yeah, I heard about relaunching WW and Hulk... I'll believe it when I see it. I'm not really excited about either.

I think the problem is, like you said, the budget for tv superhero shows is never high enough to do alot of characters justice. Hell... some of the movie budgets aren't high enough (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and Elektra... I'm looking at you!).

I would like to see the Wonder Woman relaunch I think it could use some fresh blood. As for the hulk I'm not sure what's going to happen with that considering in today's day & age i don't think a body builder in green paint will cut it. TV budget are never great great so I would love see what they would come up with at least a test pilot like they used to do for other shows.

I think there was a rumor going on about a possible live action Batman series, after Nolan finishes his trilogy. That would be pretty awesome, a series could work really well for a detective like Batman with all the foes that are too many for the big screen. Besides, I doubt anyone will dare to reboot Batman in the movies for a while after Nolan, so a TV show could give us our Batman dose for a while...

Have you guys seen the First Class trailer? Don't really know what to expect yet, but it got me pretty psyched... The Beast looked awesome btw!
