Hey all, just sharing my latest.
With the wheels on Chris Nolan's next Batman movie rolling, I had a mind to offer up some teaser art...regardless that the movie doesn't even have a full cast yet and hasn't begun shooting. There's a giant-size downloadable version at the DeviantArt page. Voila!

I've heard rumors/speculation that it will be Dr. Hugo Strange, played by Tom Hardy, but this is merely a rumor and/or the ravings of a deluded fanboy, so I'm not sure how true it will turn out to be.
Personally, I think it's a fairly likely choice, given Nolan's attempts at keeping the villains very grounded and realistic. I think he may have felt obligated to give us the more popular Joker and Two-Face for TDK, having used second-stringers like Scarecrow, Ra's al Ghul, and Zsasz in Begins. I think he's ruled out the more ridiculous or unbelievable foes, like Penguin, Riddler, Man-bat, Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane, because they don't fit in the realistic and gritty world he's established. I doubt it will be Catwoman, just seems too obvious and "been there, done that" to me.
The reason I'm thinking Dr. Hugo Strange is a good possibility is because it plays into the psychological themes that Nolan's already explored in the previous films, and his prominence in the upcoming Arkham City video game could be a sign that the character is beginning to gain exposure in mainstream media.
Again, I know nothing official, but based on what we've seen in Begins and TDK, I'd say Strange is a good possibility...

Dr. Strange would be great, and Tom Hardy would be a great choice for it (he rocked in Inception).
I am interested in seeing some of the characters from the first Set like Riffler, Poison Ivy Freeze... The movies were so corny, that the characters were done improperly.. would love to see dark, sinister versions of them... the only one that was close IMO was Carrey's Riddler, who had a dark side!

Damn that's amazing teaser! Incredible work on the broken glass!
About the villains, some pics of a head-shaved Tom Hardy came out the other day which can only add more speculation to Hugo Strange, but there should be at least 2 villains in it... I don't think it'll be the Riddler and as Kernie said none of the more "bizarre" enemies. I'd like to see Catwoman though, since Rachael is gone he's gonna need a new love interest, and maybe also Hush... whatever Nolan chooses will be awesome!
