Where did your nickname come from?
It is short for Sensation, which was my nickname when I played shooter games (Medal of Honor: Allied Assault to be more precise) online.
What part of the world do you come from?
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, home base of soft-drugs and the Red Light District.
What got you into designing covers/labels in the first place?
I used to be a DVD collector, and some of the covers where to ugly to earn a place on my shelf, so I decide to design some of them myself.
Is there anyone on the cover/label making scene that has inspired you?
Hell yeah! B3ARStyLE, Skallywag and Kylumi for starters. And when I got more involved in the coverscene names like Dweez, ShokXoneStudios, Lulubelle and HalfBreed followed soon. Nowadays there are too many designers where I got a great deal of respect for.
What would be your best advice to any up and coming designer?
Listen to comments from the more experienced designers and use their advises, keep practicing with tutorials and try to be original.

What’s your least favourite cover/label you have made?
Probably The Illusionist, which I didn’t even bother to upload here. Cheap ass poster art andterrible layout. Especially after seeing Dweez’s masterwork I wish I never made it.
What’s your favourite cover/label that someone else has made?
The Fifth Element by Skally and Lulu and Firefly by SXS share a first place for me.

What is your real name?
Michel
What do you do for a living?
I’m a real estate broker and developer. Beside this (due to last year’s recession) I’m starting a little design bureau called “Absolutely Flawless†and will be online in the new year (or maybe a little earlier). So keep track of www.AF-design.nl brotha’s and sista’s!
Any kids (that you know of)?
Yeah, I have a little girl called Anna.
Anna Michelle Louise in full, named after her father and grandfather lol.

What was your childhood like? Share an interesting "growing up" story.
When I graduated from high-school, we had a party which required to dress up like someone else. I went as Al Capone with a fake plastic gun and a tux with overcoat. Friend of mine drove a car and I was on the passenger’s seat. Another friend of mine drove by on a scooter. I screamed at him: “Hey a$$hole!†and pointed my fake gun at him. He laughed, we laughed, nothing so far. It appeared the car behind us was a cop in civilian. After five minutes of driving there where blinking lights everywhere and we were closed in by four cop-cars and guys came out with bullet-prove-vests and pointing guns! We made from page of the local newspaper. Those cops though they had good catch, but all they had where two student guys looking for a **** and a drink and having a few laughs.
What is your favourite food?
Sushi and oysters
Tell us about your best vacation.
I’m going to Italy every summer with lots of family and friends and every year I say: “It was the best holiday ever!†If the weather is nice, the drinks and food is good and I have people surrounding me for whom I care, I have the most amazing time.
What is your favourite type of music/band?
I listen to almost every kind of music, from Pavarotti to house, but probably mostly to club and (some older) r&b.Ow and not to forget, movie themes!
What is your favourite movie of all time?
I would say The Lord of The Rings Extended Editions. But I’m having problems not mentioning The Godfather Trilogy, the original Star Wars trilogy and the Indiana Jones collection.
What one place would you like to visit?
New York (again)
What other hobbies do you have besides movies & graphics?
Going out with friends, having laughs with family, playing tennis and playing some great computer games like The legend of Zelda games.
What is the best thing that ever happened to you?
My daughter
What is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you?
On a school-trip in Germany, I had to go to the toilet like a lot, because other students kicked in the door when you just started reading the first page of the comic you brought with you, I held it. After the first day, we went to a so called “conditorei†which is something like a very fancy bakery. Down-stairs was the toilet and a friend of mine and myself went there. After pulling my pants and sitting down I had to go so bad, and when you have to go, you have to pi$$ as well, I sat down and started pi$$sing immediately as well, over the back of my pants! It was about 5 degrees outside, but I acted like l got strucked by heat and pulled my sweater around my waste to cover the stain…. Got did I had it cold that day!

Jack Nicholson is the absolute best for me.
If you could meet one person, who would it be, and why?
Ari Gold (from Entourage), because he’s my hero.

I’m very happy with who I am to be honest.
What super power would you have, and why?
Invicibility, would be nice to go in a bank with that super power.

With my family. (and after that whoring, smoking and drinking)

What’s your worst nightmare?
I’m skiing, the piste is empty, all of a sudden I see a person who looks like my grandfather from a distance. After coming closer and screaming his name, I see it’s my aunt under the hat. It’s been a while since I had this one, I can’t recall any nightmares from the last fifteen years or so.
If you won a million dollars, what is the first thing you would do with the money?
Give a piece to my family and invest the rest in some nice apartments and live from the rent.
Pick three people of your preferred sex, and decide if you would marry, sleep with, or throw them off a cliff.
