I was disappointed with DC's last release Superman/Shazam it was a great movie and the shorts were great too but 22mins what a rip off.
Out of all DC's shows Teen Titans was defiantly the worst one ever made. I've tried many times to get into but I just can't. Young Justice seems to be really good so far and I can't wait for more.
it's really cool that Marvel and DC and two cartoons kinda going head to head and both being really good. can't wait for more. DC's next release is all-star superman I saw the trailer and wasn't that excited but we'll when it comes out and than I watch it and see I never cared for Batman:Gotham Knight too much either.

I thought Superman/Shazam was great for what it was, but it was totally a cash grab by Warner Bros. and Batman: Gotham Knight seemed like a gimmick to ride on the coattails of the Dark Knight buzz.

All-Star Superman looks okay. I'm always underwhelmed by the previews they put on the DVD/Blu-rays, so here's hoping it surprises me as much as Under the Red Hood did.

It'll be interesting to see where Avengers is headed as well. As I mentioned before, there's something kind of "off" about it to me. I like it, but it hasn't impressed me in 13 episodes as much as Young Justice has in 2.

Oh well, I really shouldn't complain. My 12-year-old self would kick me in the shin for having so much comic-related film/television stuff to chose from. I remember the days when the only movies us Marvel fans had to watch were Howard the Duck, The Punisher (1989), and the 90's Captain America. How times have changed... :D :D :D

Rubber Ears or not it was still better than the Captain America of the 70's with Reb Brown. He wore a helmet and his shield was plastic and see through. He also rode and motorcycle and wore shiny blue tights,lol

I saw Batman: Under the Red Hood a few weeks ago and it was by far my favorite DCU film so far, it was kinda hard to not hear Mark Hammil voicing the Joker, but I got used to it in the end. Some of the other films have been just ok, but I tried to watch Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and I turned it off after 30 minutes...
I'd like to see The Dark Knight Returns adapted too, and I have high hopes for Batman Year One.
Also, I'm gonna check out Young Justice, you guys got me excited about it

So... here's a few covers that have been a long time coming: "The Marvel Super Heroes!" show from 1966! Rather than doing a ten-disc box set, I decided to break the sets down by individual character instead.

These took much longer than I expected to put together, mainly because all of the resources and materials were over 40 years old. I did my best to vectorize and update all the title treatments, and to find character artwork that was not only from the 1960's, but also that would match the look of the characters on the other covers. Not an easy task, but I think I managed to pull it off, I guess... :shrug:

I'm really trying to get back to Marvel's earlier animated stuff, but again, limited resources are making it difficult... :( :D

Anyway, here they are...

Marvel Superheroes: Captain America

Marvel Superheroes: The Incredible Hulk
[attachment=14300:masc_mar..._package.jpg]

Marvel Superheroes: The Invincible Iron Man
[attachment=14301:masc_mar..._package.jpg]

Marvel Superheroes: Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner
[attachment=14302:masc_mar..._package.jpg]

Marvel Superheroes: The Mighty Thor
[attachment=14303:masc_mar..._package.jpg]

And here's a look at the complete collection so far... (268 DVD's, 101 Blu-rays!)

[attachment=14306:spines_d...series_3.jpg]
[attachment=14307:spines_d...series_4.jpg]

Enjoy!!! :D :D :D

Oh... and Felipe-11... I'd recommend making it further into Superman/Batman: Apocalypse again, the end fight is pretty good...

wow, great job on these , especially for being old cartoons. I was never a fan of the cartoons from that era personally but i sure there's some die hard out there. My marvel cartoons that I love started in the 80's.

Gotta say this is still the best comic collection ever made .

I agree with RRJR84 on this, great looking covers, far superior to the retail versions, I would go as far to say they are better than the actual cartoons themselves :) mind you the cartoons are nearly 45 years old, and basically look like a very basic motion comic you get these days.

Namors trident and Thors hammer look great on the backs, a great improvement on the original TT's also :) well done

I'm afraid to admit I do own this collection from Marvel, so they will be getting a face lift.

A fabulous addition to the collection, well done on finding the resources to make them. :)

Glad to see you were able to scratch those off your list as well. I remember watching those cartoons when i was a kid. Once you created some awesome stuff with very little resources. can't wait to see what's next.
