Heeeeeeeeeere’s Voetzoeker!!

The cover World Stuff

Where did your nickname come from?
When i was a fanatic Half-life TFC player and it was around new-year, i was changing my name again. Just for fun i desided to call my self Voetzoeker witch is a Fire-cracker in dutch. Literally it means Feet seeker and as i played a lot as soldier with a big bazooka you needed to aim at your opponents feet to hit him.
What part of the world do you come from?
I'm from the southern part of the Netherlands
What got you into designing covers in the first place?
I needed a some covers and stumbled on the web-site dvdcoverart, and as i couldn't pay for it (no creditcard yet) i desided i would make my own covers.

What would be your best advice to any up and coming designer?
Buy access to a site for the first year or so, because the most difficult thing for me as a new designer was to find good quality artwork and templates.

Try to avoid one color backgrounds, use a nice texture or image instead and blend it with your background color.
What’s your favourite cover you have made?
