This is the pic I used, as you can see I traced the cape's exact shape on my first preview, but it just didn't look right on this design.
The thing about those pics you posted is that the cape is still (except for the fist one, which kinda looks like mine, only you can see where it ends), and I really want the cape to be flowing in the air, not still

I can't see that image as I have lost my designer permissions on here as I have been really busy with other design work.

I just think it needs something else, maybe try feathering the edges as they do look a bit crisp?

How about doing something like this? Using an image of another cape and blending them together but obviously better than what I have done.

seriously, top notch work so far but i'm still not sold on the joker. i know you're working with a blue color scheme, but is there any way you can make his face (minus the red smile) completely white? i'd keep the rest of him blue, but the blue to white fade on the face seems a little awkward.

Added a bit of a texture to the cape, and took out the word "now" from the tagline. Any better?
