Am loving the current look, agree the clouds are pretty dominant, but a little lighter and they'll be fine. Am thinking the earlier mention of adding the actual doctor would be fantastic, assuming of course there's material to use that will work within the scope of what you want. Looking good Kernie, looking good. And, as far as make something new if you want attention....There's a few thousand Iron Man covers online, I've seen a few dozen for longer than a quick scan, of those few dozen, I've commented on 1, it was Kernie's. Kernie, you make what you want, let everyone else flood the market with yet another "new" movie, that everyone else is cranking out also.

Thanks for the support, guys!

I guess it's just the way it goes when you make a cover for a movie that isn't currently in theaters or getting released on DVD. Damn these teenagers and their ADHD keeping everyone from appreciating the classics!! :D :D :D

Similar to what others have said, I like to make covers for movies that don't have an overabundance of covers to choose from in our gallery. Yeah, I did a few mainsteam of-the-moment covers (J's Body, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Watchmen), but it's an even greater sense of satisfaction when I get a comment on an obscure cover that says, "I never expected to find a cover for this!" You don't get comments like that on a "Dark Knight" cover.

It's just nice to finally get some feedback on something that isn't part of that other collection I've got going... thanks so much everyone! :D

And ChefJoe... here's what I have in the way of splatters for PS. Some are custom shapes (.csh files) and most are brushes (.abr files). See below.

And here's another one. Probably the set of splatter brushes I use the most, because they're hi-res splatters. :D :D :D

cool stuff Andrew. You should upload these brushes to the resources ;)

I'll gather up what I have and categorize them and put them up in the next few days. :D :D :D

For impatient folks who don't want to wait, I didn't make any of these myself, I think they all came up with a basic Google search. :D

I'm loving the cover, I really like the grey box around universal legacy series. The only thing is I find the lighter green in the top of the Frankenstein TT is to light. I think it kind clashes a bit like it faded. but other than this awesome cover to a classic movie. I love the scenery behind the monster i think that was a great idea.

I also love the clouds and dull white behind everything, it looks really cool it gives it something more than just a dull color.

I disagree. I prefer that it is a dull, faded kind of color. A brighter, more saturated, neon-ish green wouldn't fit (and consequently would also make it disappear into the green bar behind, which was the problem earlier). I feel it matches the hue of the rest of the greens in the cover quite nicely.

Glad you like the rest, though! :thumb: :thumb:

Update...

I think I got the front sorted out. The ink splatters never did leave, they were always there, I think it just got too dark to see them, so I wanted to make sure they stood out a bit more.

Thoughts?
